There are not enough words to express mine and my family's appreciation and gratitude for the amount of care, empathy and transparency provided by Dr. Gabourel and her team. Unfortunately, my late brother's pittie took a turn overnight. We did everything for a week, trying to get in with his vet, but he just continued to deteriorate. He had an ongoing nerve issue with his back legs, and as Dr. Gabourel explained, it could have been due to a bulging or slipped disk, or a number of other things. Ultimately, there was no guarantee that, even /if/ we could afford a potentially 15k surgery (again, if that was even an option, which couldn't be determined until after a barrage of tests) there was no guarantee he would even be able to walk again. Given his very poor quality of life, old age, and the inability of my mum and I (she lives alone) not being able to provide round the clock care (which is what he would likely need, regardless of the outcome), we made the excruciatingly painful decision to let him go. Dr. Gabourel and her nurse were patient, kind, and did everything they possibly could to make the process as gentle as possible. We were able to sit with him, and feed him Hershey Kisses (which he absolutely loved) until we were ready for the process to begin. We were able to be with him the entire time, say our goodbyes, and were given the much needed option of having his cremated remains and ceramic pawprint. My brother was 26 when he passed from an overdose 2yrs ago, and it's still an open wound. Bosco was a link to him, and losing him is a painful blow; but watching his quality of life deteriorate was worse. I'm so grateful his vet's office recommended Stitch Vet, and thankful that, through this difficult time, we had such a kind caring team to walk us down this difficult path. HIGHLY recommend this vet. Thank you Dr. Gabourel and your team. Thank you for everything.

My dog Lilith was attacked by another dog who almost tore her ear off. I arrived at Stitch in a panic and with a bleeding hand. The woman at the front desk showed so much concern and empathy for us both. They immediately took Lilith in for surgery, calmed me down, and advised me to take care of my wounds while my baby was in surgery. I was so stressed because I didn’t have enough of a credit card limit on one of my cards but they kindly let me split it between both. I went to urgent care while Lilith was in surgery and Stitch called to see how I was doing. The surgery went smoothly and quickly. When I went to pick her up, Lilith came walking out like a healthy girl and again they made sure that I was doing better too. They gave Lilith some meds to take home and take over the next few weeks. She had several stitches on her ear and the side of her face. The stitches that they gave her were a little red that day (as expected) but by the next day they looked incredible. There was no redness, no swelling, no ooziness, nothing. Just flawlessly stitched. Over the next few days they continued to call and make sure that Lilith and I were both doing well. The stitches healed perfectly and Lilith’s ear is in perfect condition because of them. I’m not sure I can ever convey my level of gratitude for Stitch and the incredibly empathetic and talented staff they have there. Thank you to everyone there who helped Lilith and me on such a horrible day of our lives. *(This was not our first experience at Stitch, but they took the same level of care and did the same incredible level of work during our other 2 visits as well)

I recently had to take my dog to the urgent care vet after she got into a scuffle with another dog and injured her eye. We visited this urgent care vet on a Saturday around noon. After calling several other urgent care vets, this one had the shortest wait time and was conveniently close to our house. When I called, the front desk staff was incredibly professional. They collected my information over the phone, making the check-in process quick and seamless when we arrived. The lobby was spotless and well-organized, and we only waited for about 1-2 minutes before the doctor took our dog to the back. Dr. Carrie Deaton examined our dog and recommended a few tests to determine the best treatment for her eye. She estimated it would take about 30 minutes, so my husband and I went to grab a snack. To our surprise, they called us back in just 15 minutes with the results and a treatment plan. Dr. Deaton explained everything clearly and provided detailed care instructions. Timeline --> it was around 1pm when we left. The entire visit was about one hour - which is incredible for an urgent care vet on a Saturday. The entire visit, including the exam, tests, and eye drops, cost just under $300, which was very reasonable. The next day, the vet called to check on our dog, which was a thoughtful touch that went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to everyone at this urgent care vet for your professionalism and care. It was evident that the staff genuinely enjoys working there. I would 1000% recommend this urgent care vet to anyone in need, though I hope I won't need to visit again anytime soon!

I would never hesitate to recommend this urgent care to any pet parent who wants the absolute best care for their pet.

Summary review: I’ve unfortunately had to bring my husky-lab mix Robert twice for foreign object removal. Both times I was extremely impressed by the care he (and I) received. Overall, the team at Stitch are highly communicative, thorough, patient with all questions, organized/efficient, and somehow maintain a positive, caring & reassuring (yet realistic) attitude.

Detailed review: We saw Dr. Nora Rodriguez during our first visit and Dr. Monica Gabourel during our second visit. Their calm confidence and clear communication while explaining the diagnostic and treatment options immediately assured me we were in the right place. During both visits I received frequent updates and communication throughout and all my questions were comprehensively addressed.

The first visit resulted in a referral to another hospital as we came in during the evening and Stitch was closing. The triage process was extremely smooth thanks to the team. I told Dr. Rodriguez I wanted to stay with my dog over night / during the procedure and so she gave me several options of where I could go, including one where I could stay with him. The team ensured all needed information was promptly provided to the new hospital and followed up to make sure Robert received the care he needed.

The second visit ultimately resulted in a fairly invasive surgery. However, Dr. Gabourel was cautious not to jump into surgery before knowing it was 100% needed. When I asked further questions, she even explained to me by drawing a diagram of the situation & the circumstances under which it would be recommended/not recommended. Once it was determined he needed surgery, the team promptly prepped him, performed the surgery that same day, and I was able to take him home that evening. The team provided detailed & clear post-surgery care instructions. They even provided me a recommendation for a trainer when I asked (so this hopefully never happens again) and helped me lift Robert into my car after the surgery. Instead of giving me a recommendation for post-surgery food to buy, they handed me cans of the food (maybe this is typical, but it made my life just a bit easier so I appreciated it!). Finally, they promptly gave me emailed pdf and printed copies of the records and invoices.

Robert went back to Stitch the day after surgery for IV fluids and post-op care (they fed him, walked him, ensured everything seemed normal etc.). They noticed Robert has anxiety when he’s not around people and so they told me they let him stay in an area where he could see them. After I picked him up later that evening, he seemed like himself again. We are only 3 days since the surgery but he seems to be recovering very well. A huge huge thank you to the...

"I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care our beloved Rocky Ricardo has received at Stitch Vet Hospital, particularly from Dr. Monica. As Rocky approaches his 15th birthday, he's not just a pet – he's our baby, and Dr. Monica treats him with the same love and attention we do.

We've had to visit Dr. Monica twice recently – once for an eye ulcer and most recently for ear and body infections due to allergies. Each time, Dr. Monica's expertise and compassion have been nothing short of extraordinary. Her attention to Rocky is truly one-of-a-kind, and her kindness is unparalleled in our experience with veterinary care.

What sets Dr. Monica apart is not just her medical expertise, but her ability to put us at ease during what can be emotional and challenging times. As Rocky enters his golden years, we know that some decisions may become difficult, but we feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Monica guiding us. Her approach gives us confidence that we'll always make the best choices for our fur baby's well-being.

The peace of mind we feel leaving Rocky in Dr. Monica's care is immeasurable. We know that he's not just receiving medical treatment, but also being cared for with genuine affection. It's clear that Dr. Monica and the entire staff at Stitch Vet Hospital understand the deep bond between pets and their families.

We're overjoyed that Rocky is on the path to recovery, thanks to Dr. Monica's excellent care. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank Dr. Monica and the entire team at Stitch Vet Hospital. Your dedication, expertise, and compassion mean the world to us and to Rocky. You've become an essential part of our family's journey with our beloved Rocky Ricardo, and we're profoundly grateful for all you do."

Loves,...
