Had my first appointment with Teresa today and I can already tell this salon lives up to its 5* rating!

Walked in with hair so destroyed it was crunchy, showed her a pic of an actress’s hair for inspo, and walked out with silky soft hair in the exact cut of the pic I shared. I don’t even know how she managed to preserve so much length when I’d thought I’d have to chop half my hair off to get it healthy.

Teresa helped form a plan to fix my dead hair, explained why parts of my routine weren’t working because of the damage and gave advice for an at-home routine and products that could help.

And she’s the absolute sweetest! It was a rare day in San Diego with heavy rain and I’d forgotten an umbrella, so she loaned me her personal umbrella to walk home with so my blow dry wouldn’t get wet! Also had such a great conversation. I’m not normally particularly chatty at salons and there wasn’t a single moment of stilted conversation.

The stylists here seem to genuinely care about and listen to their clients. And they trust each other and work closely together so that if one of them is leaving, they can make sure the client gets the exact same treatment from someone else while they’re out. Awesome experience and I’ve already booked my next appointment.

Prices for the services are on par with (at worst) or cheaper than what other similar salons charge in my experience.

Only downside is that everyone here is so excellent and has so many returning clients that you probably can’t do walk-ins or last-minute...

I’m from out of state (as many of us are) and have yet to find my person here who could take the place of my hair stylist on the East Coast. Luckily I do not have to look any further after my appointment with Paige from The Palms. She was amazing! Did all that I asked and then some while offering some honest insight on what would look best. It was one of those hair appointments that you run your fingers through your hair after and you’re like THIS FEELS PERFECT. The space itself is so clean and aesthetically pleasing. Loved it!...
