Ok I would give 0 stars if I could. But I will give them a star for my drink because it was good. I ordered my stuff ahead of time this morning. App said 6 minutes until it was ready.
I got there and there were five other people standing around and a car waiting that had to pull around.
My drink was ready when I got there (nice!) but they didn't even tell me any update about my açaí bowl. I stoked and waited for twenty minutes while they "made" the açaí bowl. In reality, they stood around talking and working as slow as possible. Not concerned that there was literally a crowd waiting for their food/drinks. They acted like there were no customers outside.
I understand being busy in the morning, but these workers acted like they could care less that we were all waiting. They just stood talking and one of them took their apron off and walked out the store telling me "they're preparing my açaí bowl fresh." Don't know how long it takes to cut up half a banana and a strawberry, apparently it's twenty minutes.
ON TOP OF THAT, my açaí bowl is rock hard. I've been trying to wait for it to melt for twenty minutes and it's not melting. They didn't blend it or anything. I can't even eat it and I'm pretty sure I paid $10 at least for it.
I usually love this location. They're usually quick and efficient and my stuff is ready when I get there. This morning was awful.
To be fair, I think the girl was new. So I'll cut her some slack. But the worst part was really is they didn't seem to care or apologetic. In fact, they just ignored us standing around and didn't offer any explanation for why they were just standing around.
I usually don't like to leave negative reviews, but once I realized I couldn't even eat this stupid bowl, I had to say something.
Moral of the story is don't go there in the morning if you have to get to work and check your açaí bowl before you leave because you might not be able to eat it later.

Unfortunately, because we (my wife and I) were so impressed, we visited them a number of times over a couple week time period. I'm not sure what happened because they were initially great but over those two weeks they descended to below average. Initially they got all our orders correct the first time, and the drinks were delicious (we have blended mochas, hot mochas, and even the smoothies); but our last several visits have been marred. They've gotten our order incorrect multiple times--in spite of our attempts to ensure they get it down right by repeating it multiple times for clarity--and then, most recently, they burned the espresso (yuck!) when remaking the drink they made incorrectly (I asked for an almond milk mocha--not a coconut milk mocha). In short, they went from well worth the long wait in the drive thru and the prices they charge to completely forgettable and not worth going out of our way for. At this point, given my experiences with Better Buzz on Garnet Avenue, I'd say your chances of getting stellar espresso here aren't any better than they are at any other...

We had two breakfast sandwiches and two better buzz coffees and the sandwiches were all messed up. My sandwich tasted like it had cleaning supplies mixed in it and the other sandwich was supposed to have bacon in it and it didn't have any bacon even though it's a "bacon ciabatta sandwich" It was also supposed to have cheese in it and it didn't have that either. Halfway through drinking my better buzz coffee it started tasting like cleaning supplies as well I don't know if it was some disgruntled employee that messed with the food and supplies and sabotaged it because they don't want to work on a Saturday morning but I was extremely disappointed in my breakfast this morning as well as the other person I was eating it with.
