I had never shopped in a Giant Eagle Store before my stop here. Being from Florida, it reminded me a lot of Publix which is a huge plus! I found more than what I went looking for and exited with a $200+ grocery bill. But what great offerings this store offers! It is a large store, so super clean, and the nicest employees one could ever hope to encounter! And...they offer quality items, not anything like a Walmart.
More aligned with Meijer for grocery shopping alone. Giant Eagle does not offer an atmosphere that of Meijer where you can purchase it just look around for everything under the sun that has zero to do with grocery items.
Be sure to get/sign-up for a Giant Eagle Shoppers Card at the front entrance Customer Service Desk. For all my shopping price discounts for my one stint inside Giant Eagle, my receipt showed me a $6.00 credit to buy fuel at their gas station located in front of the store!
Now, who doesn't want free gasoline just for shopping inside for items you need...

So there's all kinds of cool vintage stuff from COINS, and JEWELRY (costume jewelry, and fine jewelry. Fine jewelry being silver and antique, or at least not mass produced) to VINTAGE CLOTHING, one one vendor had HANDMADE RUGS and LEATHER BAGS. + More.

Free to go. Vendors pay $50. Any SF resident can vend without a permit once or twice a year? I'm not 100% sure which though. After that, you would need to get a seller's permit with the city (which is free), I'm not entirely sure how you would go about doing that either. So ya....
