I normally like to refrain from writing reviews. However this poor experience with Trimark lead me to write one. We placed a special order on december 3rd for a 20 inch somerset unit. The service at this place was smooth and very pleasant. We looked around, they didn't have the unit so we placed an order with Alan, a representative of the establishment. He told us it would come in around two weeks of time. We waited for it as he would call one of us when the unit came. We thought maybe they didn't deliver on Saturday and sundays so we decided to give it some more time. Now it is December 22nd (the day I'm writing the review) we went to this establishment to check in with Alan to see if the unit has come in or not. He tells us it has arrived yesterday but couldn't get ahold of our friend who they were supposed to have the unit delivered to. Not a big problem as he tells us it's located in their storage warehouse near south sf. Fair enough. He gave us instructions on how to get there and Kent whom we should talk to so we went. ~20 minute drive which wasn't too bad. We arrive and we entered the customer pick up and handed them the receipt so we can pick up our unit and head home. The guy takes the receipts and goes out to search for the unit. He comes back 5 minutes later and says one second. He then brings his female coworker to look for another 5 minutes. They return without saying a single word about the unit besides confirming if this was the address it was supposed to be sent to. So me and my father were assuming they have a lot of stuff in the warehouse so it might take some time. So we waited outside for 10 minutes. They came back without informing us what has happened. So I decided to walk back in just to find them doing other things. The lady was watching a video on YouTube on how to fix a tape gun and the guy decided to do his own thing. So I'm thinking okay...? What the actual f....? I asked them what was going on with the unit and the lady tells me once again one second. I waited a couple of seconds and I told them we were in a hurry. She replies okay and enters another room and comes out a couple minutes later just to tell us they sold the unit to another customer NOT because they ordered the same product but because they ordered a smaller variant which they couldn't use and sold our unit to them. The next few minutes were a bunch of sorries and a waste of time as they did not provide a solution as to how they will handle the situation. So we asked where Kent was as he was the manager and I was praying that he knew how to resolve this situation. Me and my father explained the situation to him and he quickly checked everything out and got back to us very quickly. He offered us to take the 15 inch unit to use until the 20 inch unit came. This wouldn't work as the unit doesn't provide the same results the 20 inch unit did. He goes back to his office to contact alan on the other side and tells us that they have placed another order on rush delivery and it would arrive Friday next week. We were still upset so we decided to give Alan who just finished his lunch break a call an earful. No compensations were mentioned for the time that we wasted driving there or for the frustration that we felt. Just a bunch of apologies. This in my opinion was atrocious. You can say that it's childish for me to think that we were expecting something in return but what if we DIDN'T go and ask where the unit was today? Wouldnt that not have prolonged the wait even more if we found out a couple days later that the unit was bought out from someone who mistakenly ordered the wrong unit. We wouldn't have been frustrated if we haven't paid for it when we ordered but we paid for it and did not receive anything but apologies. We decided to wait another week. If Google allows for edits, then I will update my review when we receive...
Read moreThere are a lot of places to go for your kitchen supplies if you're a civilian cook, but if you fancy yourself a serious kitchen user, there is no better place in the City for your supplies. Don't let the name scare you, Economy carries pretty much anything you would need for the kitchen, in pretty much any size you could want. They carry all the basics, as well as anything you might need for a commercial kitchen. The prices are great, and the shopping kinda fun if you've never been to a restaurant supply store. If you do make the trip, be sure to check out the...
Read moreThis store is fun. Lots of very durable, high quality stuff. The only thing I dont like is their pricing strategy. They do not put prices on most items, glassware being an example. So the process for buying glasses is to take the one you like to the desk and ask for a price, at which point you are given a higher price than a volume buyer would get so you have to barter. However the selection of...
