Dogpatch Boulders is hands down one of the best climbing gyms in the Bay Area! The facility is massive, with walls for all levels—from beginner to advanced. The route setting is creative and challenging, keeping things fresh and exciting every time I visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with tips or advice. The community vibe here is amazing—welcoming and encouraging, no matter your skill level. One of the highlights? They have a sauna in each of the locker rooms! It’s the perfect way to unwind after a tough session on the walls. Combine that with their clean and well-maintained gym, spacious training areas, and even a yoga studio, and this place really has it all. Highly recommend for climbers of all levels!

Had a lot of fun by myself. Not crowded on a Wednesday morning in December. So many walls/routes to choose from. Can use real chalk (unlike my local indoor climbing gym, which only allows liquid chalk). All areas (including bathrooms/locker rooms) are very clean. Temperature just right inside. The holds feel good (not greasy). The routes are fun to climb and figure out—the grades seem to scale for both technique and strength rather than just strength/height. Wish I had more time here. Looking forward squeezing in another session here the next time I’m in SF. Caveats: 5’0” petite climber. Experience: ~1.5 yrs @ average ~2 sessions per week.

big place for bouldering, $20 for a early day pass before 3 pm. Fair pricing. I went in the morning at nine o’clock on Friday, a little bit cold , around 20 ppl playing around. Routes are nice and different types of walls! i went to planet granite in FEB 2018 it was big enough for bouldering and top rope climbing , Big windows for A good views to the park and sea. If you do both usually in your countries, I recommend planet granite, top rope climbing is very nice. if u want to bouldering,I think both place still good!

Dogpatch is my home gym, I visit three times a week (sometimes more) to climb and train. They have a large selection of bouldering, a kilter board, spray wall, campus board, weight training area, as well as additional areas upstairs for classes and training. The setting team is swift, I have yet to be able to catch up and often find myself putting those last few tries on my project after I'm already tired for the session, knowing it will be reset before I can come back for it. I am still fairly new in my climbing, averaging V3-5, but I would say the gym is slightly soft in comparison with other gyms (Pacific Pipe for example, or other gyms I've visited in the Midwest). Nonetheless, dogpatch enables me to train hard and work on a large variety of movements. The weight training area has a large weight rack, which serves as a pull-up station in addition to squat/bench/deadlifts/etc. There are specialized equipment such as the hang boards, weight belts for weighted pullups, and a wrist roller. Parking can be difficult, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot, often behind the gym on 22nd or the street behind. As a female bodied person, I have always felt safe and welcomed at the gym, though sometimes the send bros don't realize they're hogging the wall and you'll have to interrupt them to put in your tries, happens anywhere. The locker room has showers and a sauna, great for after particularly hard sessions. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend stopping by! Day passes are a bit expensive, $30 for a day, but at $95 for the monthly membership is much more affordable. There is also a small shop at the front which includes climbing guides, drinks, snacks, and a limited selection of climbing shoes. Hope to see you...

🐕 patch boulders!😍😍😍😍 If you like climbing dog patch is amazing to say the least! I fricken love this place! It's the biggest bouldering gym in California. It feels like there are infinite lines here. I'm fairly new to climbing. I initially started getting into it last year before the pandemic hit. So my skill level/strength aren't quite up to par. But whether your an experienced climber or a rookie like myself there is something here for you! There is no workout like climbing. And if your anything like myself and prefer a calisthenic workout, I highly recommend giving this a go! It's so much fun, especially if you have someone to climb with. But even if you don't the climbing community is really friendly. The people here are really nice from the climbers to the employees, and my experience thus far in the Bay has been just the opposite. So it is a welcomed change to be around so many nice people. Everyone is there to offer advice and help with your technique. DOGPATCH BOULDERS IS THE BEST! Go for yourself and I promise you won't be disappointed! You do currently need a membership to visit. The initiation fee is $100, and it's $87/month. They have free weights and various ways to strength train from training walls to rings. Highly recommend getting a membership even if it's just to test it for a month. It's worth...

Great gym! But they conditioned me to do certain behaviors when the fear of energy or the flow entered into my mind and then tried to suggest I was getting bad karma for those behaviors. Before listening to their “yogis” and taking what they say to heart, understand that they really just went to a glorified cosmetology school to get where they are.

These people at Touchstone and the manipulation strategies they use are the exact reason we see homeless or mentally ill people exhibiting behaviors we would label crazy. It’s sickening. The disorder doesn’t cause the behaviors, social conditioning does and people at Touchstone Gym know this and use it as a tool for manipulation. Shame on them.

Sorry for puttin you guys on blast, but I have to deal with the after effects of this every day. Every single day. Unlike your usual clientele I can’t afford a 2 week retreat to recover from this. I’m still trying to deprogram my mind from the delusional world views introduced to me by one of your “Yogis” and I have a mood disorder. How is that fair? Shame on you all, you turned a happy and loving person into a paranoid and angry person. You did that Touchstone. Shame on you all.

You took away my peace, you can deal with my 1 star reviews, I can’t deal with your paranoid delusions that you spread through your...
