We’ve dined in and gotten takeout at least once a month since they’ve opened. The pizza is amazing. We’ve been really happy about this place and always refer friends or bring them here, until more recently due to one person behind the counter. It seems every time we see her, she can’t be bothered. At first I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but it seems more and more consistent. Today she may have changed our mind about ever coming back.
To be fair, I may have asked for a little too much when we ordered a smack stack today. It was the only time I’d ever deviated or asked for something different than the way it came. I asked that it be cut in half. The response over the phone was “we don’t do that”. When we arrived to pick it up, she made sure to tell us “we did it for you this time, but we don’t ever do that”.
Working in the service industry, I think a better response would have been, “I’m sorry, we don’t usually do that, but we’d be happy to provide a knife so you can cut it in half when you get to where you’re going”.
As healthcare workers, we recognize that we’ve been living with a pandemic and sometimes things can be difficult. However, we won’t be back as long as she’s holding down the front end of the house.

Read morethe cashier at the shop called me “crazy” today. I ordered on the long bridge pizza website - the estimate pickup time was 60 min from the time I placed order. We happened to drive by the shop so I stoped by 10min after placing the order and asked when the order will be ready. The cashier told me it would be ready in 50min as the order confirmation email said. I then asked if I place an order at the moment in store, how long it would take - he said 25min. Considering that’s shorter than 50min, so I asked if I could cancel the online order and order in the store. And then I found out the website does not allow cancellation. the cashier said they could not cancel the online order from their end either. Then another cashier asked me what’s the matter. I said I was only trying to get the order faster. Then he said “you are crazy”. then they told me I could come back in 20min. Well the whole time I did not ask for pizza to be done right away. Was only asking questions nicely. And in the end they did say it took 20min. They could have told me that without calling me crazy. We live in the neighborhood. We do love and respect our community. Being called “crazy” on the New Year’s Day just hurt...

Never asked us for vacation card, later some dude with glasses came and rudely scolded us saying that we have to show them vaccination card if we decide eat inside. It’s not customer job to show. You as business owner who cares about customer must ask for it. In general pizza quality was average. There are plenty great pizza places around. This place should be your last option!!!
Response: We understand you fallowing CDC rules BUT our frustration was how your employee’s approach was. He seems like didn’t really care about covid while taking off his mask and yelling at customers. AGAIN, if you saw saw customers changing their mind and eating inside, YOU have to come and ask their cards it is not their job to ask you, if you want to see their cards!!!! Make sure you note this somewhere for yourself if you confused somewhere!!!! AND AGAIN! Please teach your employees do not disturb customers middle of eating and teach then SOME MANNERS.
