MUST VISIT if you're in San Francisco. Wow! Their authentic marine antiques from around the globe are stunning and memorable. Ken and Ron Brown (brothers and owners SINCE 1977), are a wealth of historical and scientific knowledge that bring the rare artifacts to life. Compasses, barometers, trunks, rope beckets, dive helmets, ship wheels, models and more. I walked around for almost an hour and continued to encounter new treasures. If you have a coastal-themed home, a nautical collection, or simply love rare finds, the authentic antiques here will blow your mind. Prices for antiques range dramatically from $100 to $10k+. There are loads of reasonably priced souvenirs, hats, and clothing as well. I was surprised to see their large collection of Kühl brand jackets. (I'm a hiker and love the quality and women's fit of Kühl.) If you need a quality jacket, because San Fran always tends to be cooler than expected, there's a great assortment for men and women. There's some fun Top Gun and marine coats as well. Overall, this store was my favorite stop on my recent visit to San Francisco. It's conveniently located along the water in Fisherman's Wharf across from In-n-Out Burger. I look forward to visiting again on my next trip!

Cute shop, affordable clothes. Lots of options for souvenirs. I was disappointed not to find a tiny mug option. They only have large and espresso size but nothing in the middle or a smaller mug that is not medium size. Hard to fly with a huge mug and hard to drink a small cup of tea/coffee in a shot glasses size mug.

Have been to Franks Fisherman for years. Those folks are the best. Everyone in my family has clothing hanging in their closet from Frank’s. My home has several pieces of art, nautical antiques, unique items that my son has enjoyed since he was old enough to walk and he’s 24 now. An he still loves to stop in. Just a different shop than everything else in the fishermen wharf area. Well worth a stop when in San Francisco.

Above review was written last year. Since then Frank’s Fishermen has changed hands. The brothers who had been there for years are now enjoying a well earned retirement. And with them what made Frank’s Fishermen a must stop for us when we went to SF is gone.

Thanks Ken and Ron for all the warm memories we have of visiting your shop. Have a great and wonderful retirement!!

LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I stopped in on accident and I spotted the CUTEST coat ever. The two brothers who run the store were so fun and helpful. They had a knack of making me feel like I was important and just gave me such a lift. We visited and had such a great time. I have cherished my KUHL brand jacket so much, Infact even tho I live in Idaho/Eastern Washington area, I am buying my next coat directly from them just because I was so fond of my experience. So rare these days and even in a big city! Wish this business all the continued success...
