I called and made an appointment for two services gel extension take off and a basic design on my own nails. When I arrived they asked my name and told me to wait a few minutes. When I was seated with the woman doing my nails I told her what I would be getting and she told me she didn't have time to do both services and that I would have to make an appointment for the second service. I did make an appointment, it wasn't honored. I asked the woman to cut my nails short before she took the gel off. She told me no bc she needed to see where my nail was and she might hurt me. That doesn't make any sense. She just wanted to tell me no. Then she hurt my skin a few times with the electronic buffer device they use. After I told her my nails were thin and asked if she could be more gentle. It seemed purposeful. Then the woman doing someone else's nails next to me kept looking over at me and snickering and saying things under her breath in her native language as if it wasn't clear as day she was talking about me. I think it's important for people to understand where you aren't wanted. This place has no pictures of melanated hands and now we know why. Take your business elsewhere. They're not welcoming...

I highly recommend asking for Meng Meng. Her attention to detail is incredible; the shape of my nails is absolutely perfect, and her cuticle work is meticulous. The gel polish from my first visit lasted two months without any chips or lifting, which is a huge win. Yesterday, Meng Meng removed my gel extensions and did an incredible job shaping my natural nails. I let her choose the color, and the result is stunning!

For my pedicure yesterday, I met with Irene, who is also very talented. She was patient, and I truly love her work.
