I will never eat here again. I've been here several times throughout the years and I've never had a problem until now.
The waitresses are rude from the moment you walk in the door, the food is mediocre and the prices are way higher than other restaurants in the immediate area that serve the exact same food.
My family and I ordered several items off of the menu today, one of them being friend oyster mushrooms. All the food was fine, no real issues or complaints, until we tasted the oyster mushrooms.
I order this dish everytime I eat out, not only here, but at other similar restaurants. Today, the chef who made my dish POURED salt into the batter before frying it. After eating two pieces, my mouth was dry and tasted of nothing but salt a though I had just eaten a spoonful of salt.
I drank down a cup of water and signaled to the waitress who was rude to us as soon as we walked in and imaptient with us as we were figuring out what to order. I explained the problem and asked that she have the chef remake the dish with an appropriate amount of salt.
She immediately began arguing that because we didn't order the dish with NO SALT to begin with, that she couldn't have the chef fix it and couldn't swap it out. I then told her to return it to the kitchen because it was inedible.
When the bill came, we were shocked to see that she had not removed the oyster mushrooms from our tab! We signaled her over and pointed out the mistake. She repeated her initial argument that because we didn't predict the chef would pour salt onto our dish and ask, in advance, for no salt before tasting the dish, that we were responsible for the charges.
We asked to speak to a manager and she begrudgingly schlepped off to speak to him about the issue. He walked over to the register, punched something in, and sent a different, POLITE waitress over explain that the manager took the charges off. None of the staff have name tags here , so I am left unable to point out whose behavior was professional vs. whose was atrocious.
We paid and left, vowing never to...

OMG...I was disappointed to find out that their lunch special didn't come with bread no more...one of the primary reasons my family comes here for lunch. The bread was just too yummy!!
So with that aside, they replace the bread with the sweet and sour soup..still wanted bread though!! Lunch special ranges from $6-$8 per dish, but it comes with sweet and sour soup and the choices of pumpkin porridge, white rice or brown rice. Although the dishes are small, I know they took time and effort to make them because everything is vegetarian, but it taste and look like what they are supposed to be. They give you a card to get stamps on so you get 10% off after certain visits. Staff is attentive and ready to serve you and there was no wait compared to when we came before....probably because the bread is gone!!
Parking is huge, with shopping areas to walk if you want, but it does get crowded on weekend during...
Read moreIf you want to pay for ok food but worst attitude, this is the place to be. We got there at 2:15pm on a Sunday and were told after we sat down that the kitchen closed at 2:30. We had to rush the order. Dishes came very quickly. We thought now we had the time to eat. At 2:40 the bill came, and items were supposed to be lunch special on the menu, but were charged at full prices because there was no lunch special on weekend although the menu didn't mention such. We thought we would pay once we finished, but the waitress came at 2:45 and asked us to pay immediately. She wasn't friendly at all as if we owed her. By 3pm she came again and rudely announced that kitchen closed at 2:30, and now it's already 3, we had to leave. WTH?! My friend was still chewing her food while we were thrown out of the restaurant. This is so freaking not acceptable! For sure we will...
