I shop at this store often, and Iâve noticed the pricing on donated clothing doesnât make much sense. For example, womenâs short sleeve tops are $5.99, regular tops $7.99, and long sleeves $8.99. At this point, the different colored tags donât seem to serve any purpose since most items are priced the same across the board.
Flat pricing also feels unreasonable, for example, charging $7.99 for a used crop top is excessive. On top of that, clothing doesnât seem to be checked for quality. I recently found pants priced at $8.99 that had a visible tear (shown in picture).
Compared to other thrift stores, the pricing feels pretty high. Many competitors run half-off deals where items end up as low as 99 cents. Here, even after discounts, items are still $3.99, which isnât a great deal for secondhand goods.
Overall, it seems like little thought is going into pricing based on quality, style, or condition. Considering everything is donated by the public and not purchased by Angel View, the pricing feels...
Read moreHorrible staff! The first bad experience we had was them pushing a discount on their colored tags and then allowing their employees to âforget to enter the discountâ. They said they wouldnât refund my money and that i HAD to pick other items. The second was today, my daughters (4&5) were looking through the toys and an employee kept coming up to them telling them not to âroll the toy on the floorâ, this toy that my daughters asked me to buy them that i had intended on buying. As well as scolding my child not to touch another item instead of speaking to me about it. I asked to speak to a manager and the shift manager told me that my complaint on their employee was âgood to hear.â I will never return to this location and suggest that nobody with small children go to...
Read moreJust went over to the San Jacinto location to donate some clothes (almost half an hour before the 6pm closing time) and the bald guy manning the store immediately hid upon seeing me like a bug when they see light. Door was already locked but there was a very âprofessionalâ piece of paper taped upfront that said âDonations til 5:30â and I did arrive shortly after (5:35) but the employee of the year did not have the decency to even try to approach me and like a person say âhey, sorry we canât do itâ. Scared to show his face. Very un professional and quite frankly immature from such a...
