Located in the center of a residential area, its a small market, but its location is what makes it cute, quaint and convenient, for visitors and the residents nearby. Yah. So I LOVE farmers markets. Could and probably would go to one everyday of the week, if one was close by and I could easily cook. But with only one working burner, cooking hasn't been much of a viable option these days. On this particular day, it was a well deserved break from the monotony I live in. A nice drive, a half day road trip just for a break. As stated, the market is located in the center of a residential area called Evergreen, the market vendors outline the park, which is a single one way circle, with retailers along its perimeter, including a Walmart. Surprisingly, that Walmart fits within the theme of the retailers. Surrounding the farmers market are apartment buildings and residences, its like its own little city, tucked away from the main thoroughfare. It's not a huge market, I'd say maybe about 15-20 market booths, an easy 20-35 minute walk, to see all the booths, if you don't linger too long at the booths. There was a variety of fruits and vegetables for sale which were more affordably priced, than prices found from several other markets Ive frequented in the east bay area. Parking is ample, free and easy. For a 30 minute impromptu drive on a Sunday, the trip was worth the getaway.

Smaller than the other farmer's markets I've been to, so you do end up going to every stall. Today they had the thai street food, kettle corn stand, bread and egg stand, the pie stand and the honey stand for food and then the veggie and fruits stands. We sampled the bean and carrot pies and the thai tacos with chicken and chicken satay. The bean pies were sweet which was a bit unpleasant for me as I was expecting a savory flavor. The carrot pies was good. The thai tacos were interesting just a little dry. The satay and the peanut sauce were delicious. The fruits and veggies looked super fresh!! Ample place to sit and social distance except when you're shopping at the stalls. There is a little pond close by where you can also go if needed. Nice to have something close to home and will be back here, particularly if the food trucks come back!

I love this farmers market. So much variety. They have baked goods, honey, eggs, fresh fish, flowers, all kinds of fruits and veggies. They have people there playing music, and today there was a Thai street food stall with very tasty food. Prices are all pretty great at most stalls. It's a fairly busy event, so be prepared for that. Bring a rolling cart of some kind if you can; a hefty bag at the very least.

I highly enjoy being a vendor at this market, not only because I like my job and I love the product I'm selling, but, between the awesome market manager and the customers I see every Sunday, that is truly what makes it something special!❤ Tony, the Market manager, is one of the nicest gentleman I've met, who can be very helpful and can joke with you all in the same day haha. The customers, where would the Market be without the customers? Actually, I've gotten to know quite a few of my regular customers and I look forward to seeing them every Sunday! I always wondered how my father did this for so long, and after getting to know the customer, the people and especially MY BOSS❤❤I don't wonder anymore! I thank all you customers for making this job not feel like a job at all!😉 I thank my dad for suggesting that I take his position after his retirement❤! Big thanks to my awesome BOSS! Wonderful, kind, sweet beautiful woman, whom never takes a...

Nice Market. It's easy to park. They actually have the fountain on in the middle of the park which makes it sort of cooling feeling which will matter more as we go forward in the summer. I like the arrangement of the booths in a circle around the square - as opposed to going up and down aisles like I would in a grocery store. Unlike Campbell or downtown San Jose there were no stalls that were NOT food.

I was certain I would find some crafty person who had made lots of face masks to choose from, however them not being there is not the fault of the farmers market it is the fault of government restrictions on what we can still do.

A fifth star would have been if there was some music. Piped in or live. I think, to a lot of people, a farmers market is not just shopping but a trip out, or an event to brighten and start their weekend. I wish I could give it 4.5 but it just didn't write me...
