Mimi Foot Spa — Local services in San Jose

Called in for a 1 hour massage. Massage started out bad with no pressure & no technique. Tried telling the lady to increase pressure ... But in the end, was waiting it out cuz hey, massages are hit or miss .. I can just tip a 20 and go home at the end of 60 minutes

But then she tried to take my hand and put it on her back & tried to get me to sign up for "extras". When I refused, she had the audacity to ask me for 40 dollars tip cuz "she doesnt get a salary" & "she has to come all the way from Campbell". I am sorry but that is none of my business;

I stopped the massage & walked out to try complaining to front desk, but suddenly receptionist did not understand English. (not before she therapist grabbed a 20 from the change on the table)

Anyway, if you need a decent massage .. strike that .. even an excuse of a massage, this isnt the place.

Weak hands not a massage or a oil on body rub absolutely no skills it was so bad that I actually was just annoyed being touched any longer asked the lady 4x to wipe my back of the oil. She thought I wanted to continue without oil which she was not getting the vibe. Anyways on my way out they said “thank you” ... great customer service I guess I left 10-15 min in the massage hoping for some redemption in between. I just think it’s kinda funny they said “thank you” to someone they left clearly unsatisfied. It was nice of the lady to understand and offer/state that next time I come it won’t be her... to bad there is no next time. I have an issue with an inflamed Achilles tendon. While driving to Monterey I randomly found Mimi’s and stopped. $60 for an hour foot massage which seemed reasonable. Janie did a great job on my feet and legs. I was surprised when Lily came in and started massaging my back as well. I assumed my total time would be shortened nope. Full hour. The I assumed that they would ask for extra. Nope no up selling. I did tip them each $20 which seemed fair enough. They were happy and I got a great massage. If I’m back in SJ I’ll stop again though I won’t expect this level of attention.
