DO NOT RECOMMEND! My friend sent me a very generous, giant bouquet of long stem pink roses during a rocky time. The bouquet is probably the largest I’ve ever received! They were at my door and very pretty. I could tell many of the flower pedals looked wrinkly and not very fresh but it was still a beautiful bouquet and such a nice gesture.
Less than 24 hours later, two roses had flopped over dead and less than two days in, several are limp and droopy. A portion of the bouquet is a different bunch of pink roses that are not fresh. Also they put wayyyy too much baby’s breath so it’s overwhelming the roses and making it so they can’t stand up straight, causing more droop.
I contacted the store with photos of the wilting, droopy flowers, less than two days since delivery. They asked that the person who bought them to contact them. Um no. I’m not going to tell my friend who spent a fortune on flowers that they already wilted. That’s so rude! I replied and told the store I will not being telling my friend and asked why they can’t resolve it with me, the recipient. She wrote back that it’s “store policy” to give options to the person who bought them. What, are you going to offer him a discount for wilted flowers? Replace the flowers!!!!! Make it right for the recipient!!!! Your customer paid a lot for fresh flowers that last more than 24 hours! It’s so unacceptable to not work with the recipient of the flowers who is obviously really sad they’re already dying. They’re for the recipient, not the buyer to enjoy. That’s BAD service and a poor reflection on them.
Now I just look at them and feel so sad (and mad) that my friend wasted his money at a store that doesn’t take care of it’s customers. Thanks for ruining a nice gesture SJ Flowers. SO DISAPPOINTED...
Read moreOrdered on 9th of Feb for Valentines. Waited all day for delivery. Tried calling only for a voicemail to say they weren't accepting calls since they couldn't take more orders... eh, what about your customers who have paid for an order already? Then emailed asking when the delivery would be WITH the order number only to recieve 'order for who?'. 2 emails sent after this and none recieved, they clearly have no care for customers. Wife comes home from work at 4.30/5pm, still no flowers... you guys had 5 days notice! Not even a notification saying they could be delivered later so I wasted my day. The flowers arrived at 8.20, by which time my wife had fallen asleep from her long day at work. Poor delivery guy wasn't central to the company so probably got the brunt of it from customers like me who were a bit miffed to say the least. Flowers were good but Valentines flowers are for when your other half comes home from work, they are not to be delivered after say 5pm (unless you order the day before or something). 5 days notice and you deliver flowers well after the sun has gone down? Ridiculous, it's a joke. Now seeing a review from someone a few years back saying they recieved theirs at 9pm. Haven't learned. Good luck growing your business if this is...
Read moreI ordered flowers yesterday morning for delivery the same day - not always ideal but couldn't be helped. I decided to order a $10 upgrade, not knowing if it would be meaningful, but the friend was having a birthday plus recovering from a procedure so decided to go with the additional amount hoping for the best. I had misspelled the name of the street to deliver to, and the florist called me not once but twice (I don't always answer my home phone) to get clarification. A little while later I got a text from my friend thanking me for the most beautiful flowers she had every seen and sent a picture. I was so happy to see that the picture she sent showed the arrangement delivered was indeed more substantial than the standard size shown online, the extra $10 well worth the cost. The customer service and quality of arrangement will definitely have me using San Jose...
