Primo’s Deli — Restaurant in San Jose

The short of it is these are REALLY good sandwiches and I had Antipasta literally yesterday and these are so much better. Best sandwiches on the East side by a mile.

Don't sleep on this place, go get you a tasty sandwich and keep this new place in business for a long time. They really deserve it.

These sandwiches are some of the messiest sandwiches I've ever had, which is actually a postitive. A lot of places skimp on the sauces, but not here. I would classify them as wet sandwiches if you get all the sauces in their regular amount. It gives it a real Southern kind of "eat ribs with your hands" kind of vibe which makes it feel even more like comfort food.

My wife and I have two other sandwich places we love, but they're like 20mins away and we have young children, so we never get to go, so we're really excited to have found this place. We got the #10 and #20 and they were just fantastic.

The place is really new and just opened and Google Maps gives you the wrong directions to get there, so heads up. Just go the way that makes sense to get across the main road divider there and you'll be fine. The inside was super random with stuff kind of everywhere and some random items being sold like a TV and power tools. Not really sure what that is all about, but I doubt it will be a permanent feature. I will update my review in a few months once they've gotten...

My wife sent me to Primo's Deli because of the good things someone posted on NextDoor about it. I met Alex and Rita and chatted with them while my sandwiches were being prepared. I got the Papa Bear for the wife and a Ruben for me; both on the swirled rye bread. Both items were delicious and very fresh! Now I hafta decide what to order for my next visit for I will definitely be coming back! Great service and great food! Good luck...

Absolutely love this place. I've tried 2 different sandwiches on the menu and both were delicious. I know one was a #9 and not sure what the other one was. But all their sandwiches sound good. I highly recommend Primo's deli, if you want something new and different give them a try. You won't be disappointed. The only down side Is they close at 5p.m. hopefully in the near future they will extend...
