Absolutely the worst service experience with zero to no compassion. I had an accident and my doctor ordered X-Rays. I called another Stanford Imaging center to schedule an appointment and they provided the wrong address so without any intention to be late, I arrived at 4:50 to this office for the imaging center on the 2nd floor. This office closes at 5:00pm. I had a person at home sick so even with my injury I had to drive to arrive before 5:00pm. For other personal reasons, I had to get the x-rays done this day. The person at the check-in desk stated it was already close to 5pm so they were going to make an exception, and my answer was that I really appreciated it. I sat down at the wait room and the person that takes X-rays called my name and said, āare you aware is almost 5pm and we close soon?ā I was shocked this was her greeting. After this I said, you have no idea why I am late and honestly I don't want to be here either, I never asked to have an accident. She kept going on and on to what time it was, that I should know for the next time, to the point where I had to even ask if the ella was going to perform the service or else I would leave. As a professional and someone who has worked prior in customer experience, it is a shame that a health professional is not empathic enough to care a tiny bit for patients or at least try to understand why someone might be late. When someone is unable to walk properly, explanations of why you need to have an x-ray performed should be unnecessary. I would urge this facility to reconsider the way patients are being treated. At last, I was out of the office at 5:07pm, and she ultimately became a bit more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't go here. You can see oncologist 1 or 2 times during treatment. The rest doctor appointments during treatment will be with NP, nurse practitioner. Most oncologists are less experienced with less than 2 years or fresh. When you get sick after infusion, on call doctor doesn't help your symptoms. Scheduling is also terrible. They have only 1 main call number and difficult to reach to your doctor directly.
2021 Stanford is making profit from patients who are being stressed. They charged me $11,555 for using building and $479 for echo cardiogram here. It was 20 minutes long to check heart condition and no injection or then was done. Don't go to Stanford for echo. You can go outside other cardiologist office and they used to have this service on site and cheaper. I noticed that Stanford has been aggressively charging medical fees here and there by their coders these days. I have done at stanford in palo alto and didn't charge in the past. Think twice if you are thinking to use Stanford not to wipe out your and your insurance...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a patient for several years and was monitored and well taken care of. I had a cancer reoccurrence in 2021 and was scheduled for surgery. They went in and when I woke up from surgery, was told they couldnāt find the cancer. Afterward I had one follow up appointment and then my doctor left Stanford. So did my entire care team. I called several times over the course of a year trying to get ahold of anyone and never received phone calls back. So I was left completely uncared for after having significant evidence of cancer. I donāt know what happened but the entire situation is very strange and unsettling. I should mention this is the second doctor + care team that suddenly left during my time...
