Windmill Market — Local services in San Juan Bautista

So....today about 12pm, decided to order fresh deli sandwich, was waiting for order to be taken, another individual was in standing at counter. Was waiting for 3-4 minutes none of the 3 women working acknowledged us. I inquired regarding the process of ordering, they just looked at us like we should know, finally 1 of them took our order. Was waiting for order, other people that ordered after us was receiving there food. I inquired regarding our order, I was informed a specific woman was making our sandwich for lack of name, a large women. We continued to wait, she began making another sandwich, I stated I only ordered 1 sandwich she just mumbled and gave me a snide look, waited a few more minutes and I asked another employee, finally the (large women) stopped with other order and proceeded to wrap our sandwich. She had a real attitude. I asked for a manager at cash register, the cashiers looked at each other. I decided to let someone know how we were treated, as we we're walking out of the store, the cashier and deli employees said something to each other and started cackling (laughing). We stop in a few times a year, we will not be stopping in any longer. Hopefully management will train these individuals how to properly...

Since it's the only store in SJB they over price everything like your shopping at Macy's or Nordstrom. Terrible they have no shame. I bought the 9.99 a pound hot meal in the deli and I paid 20.00 for 1 peice of rib a small piece of lasagna and a spoon full of vegetables. The cashier said it weighed 1.75 pounds I couldn't believe it so I came home and weighed it myself on my scale and it only weighed 1.25 so they charged me for the containers weight . I called the store and they said too bad but if that's what the scale in the store said then it is what it is. Such a rip off and I ended up finding a hair in my lasagna. So disgusting. The store owner should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage because it's the only store in town unless you want to drive 15 miles. They get richer while we get poorer. There's other costumers harassing disabled people leaving notes on the handicap peoples cars making fun of them and saying they aren't handicapped like honestly the parking lot is tiny for one and two the handicap parking is way to far from the door whoever is making notes is absolutely insane. And so it the lack of care from midmill itself when the issue was brought to there attention I e been ignore left on hold when I'm still hearing everyone speaking laughing and joking around in Spanish. it's discrimination. Honestly so is shopping there in general it's cheaper to drive far to Gilroy or Hollister to get anything the to go down the road from home to get bread or cups it's insane to be this rude and overpriced with low...
