We walked in and since there was a long wait, we chose to sit at the bar. The bar area had plenty of vacant stools and we at least wanted a drink before getting a table. It took the bartender a good while to greet us with a less than enthusiastic hello. I wasnât expecting to get served right away necessarily, but at least a warm smile, an acknowledgment that we had arrived at the bar, somethingâŠ. We had the opportunity to sit at a table nearby and it took them a little longer to show us a menu and they forgot to serve us the delicious warm bread, so we ended up ordering a spinach dip which was good but probably more than we shouldâve ordered, but we were starving by then cause everything was taking awhile although the restaurant was emptying out. Maybe the employees were switching turns or closing out, or maybe theyâre tactics to get clients to order more but darn, I couldâve saved myself a few bucks if we had been served the bread nice and warm at the bar in the first place. And Iâm not being a Karen, believe me, I know itâs not easy work, especially if youâre about to close shift, but I want to be treated as if I were spending close to $100 each time I walk in there, which I am. Anyway thatâs my rant! The food was as good as usual, maybe the burger a bit saltier than my taste buds could bear but Iâm a low salt consumer usually. The sweet potato was good but had patches that were overdone. The shrimp appetizer is plentiful and the Mac and cheese always good. At least we had leftovers for the next day. Not sure if Iâll return to that location anytime soon but I would consider another Longhorn...
   Read moreI went about 3 weeks ago while on vacation in PR. Soon after we ordered we got a Cockroach coming up the back of the booth seat. I flicked it towards the floor and killed it. I told our wonderful waitress Liz who called the manager (Alexis) for us. He stepped on top of the coackroach and couldn't see it and didn't even try to see it after I told him he stepped on it. He didn't look surprised and didn't apologize for it. Has this had happened in the states, they would have offered a discount or a free dish. We were very disappointed because if you are able to see coackroaches on daylight that points toward a broader infestation. Also it is obvious that this manager needs to learn more about customer service.
