Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in San Juan

Place was kind of busy for 3:45 PM so my wife and I decided to have a late lunch before she goes to work which was at 5:15 somehow we wait for 15 min for a server and he finally showed up and took our order which was a pasta and soup and salad with bread sticks. It took like another 15 more minutes to bring us the drink (2 cups of water and) then nothing. 10 more min to bring the soups and a salad with no bread sticks or asking if I wanted cheese on my salad then he disappeared. Meanwhile we are still waiting for cutleries. After 10 min I proceeded to ask someone about it and the waiter walked out of kitchen and I said we haven’t got any knives and forked or plate for the salad and he said I didn’t bring any???? At this point Im getting anxious because we haven’t had any food and the way things are going, my wife will be late for work. We waited another 7 min or so to get our cutleries and by this time the soups are cold so we had to eat them and finish the salad in the bowl since there still was no plate. We waited and waited until 5:00 so I proceeded to find him in order to pay for the check and leave but he was nowhere to be found and I asked the girl in front desk for our check and she said sorry speak “NO ENGLISH”. 🤬 By this time she was late for work and I wanted just to get out of this hell hole and all of a sudden the waiter shows up and says I’m sorry but the kitchen is backed up and it’s not my fault. Damn man!! Just give me my check and don’t put your issues on me. He wanted to charge me for the pasta that he never brought out and I told him to go and take a deep dive in a shallow lake dude as you have a better chance of seeing Jesus before you see $$$ for the food that I never got. He then left and came back with a deducted check for soup and salad. I throw him a $20 including a $6 tip which he didn’t deserve but I figured maybe it’s really not his fault and it is the damn Corporation who loves to cut corners for a profit. It is a shame that these chain restaurants allowed to get away with these bad and terrible behaviors.😤😡🤬 My first time having a experience in this restaurant and most likely will not going back again or at least not to...

Eat here only if you want a decent meal but with terrible service.

Walked in at about 8:15pm on Tuesday to patiently wait for about 10 min at the entrance podium. Finally we waived a staff member who was chatting at the bar and asked if they were open and were sheepishly escorted to a round table for 6 (we were a party of 3).

We asked to get a booth since there were several vacant, and after some confusion, we got a booth but no menus. Then the chaos began.

I asked for an unlimited soup and salad order and my family for the make your own pasta. We asked for a substitute sauce and after about a 15 min wait we're told we could not substitute (fair enough) - so we changed the order and things looked fine. Then another 30 min pass by and - nothing! No soup, no salad and no entree appeared.

This pattern continued through our meal - we seemed to be served by 3 separate wait staff and getting next course of the meal was an ordeal. No surprise - but the check took another 10 min after we asked for it. They said they were short staffed and the restaurant was jammed but it was only 25% full while we were there.

We have been to multiple OG restaurants in the continental US and I now have a new respect for the staff there and their efficiency and service.

I hope my experience was an outlier but I am certain i will never visit an OG...

We went on Saturday. We ordered our drinks and meal and waited too long for something to arrive. When our frozen peach Bellinis were finally brought, these were flavorless in spite of costing $10 each. The salad was OK but not as good as it used to be. I asked the waitress if I could modify the churrasco dish and have it with the Salmon's garlic and Parmesan broccoli instead of with mashed potatoes. She said yes, but the broccoli they gave me was plain. After I remarked that's not what I had ordered, someone brought me powdered Parmesan on the side and insisted the garlic was in it (no attempt at actually warming it up to melt the cheese or anything). It had no flavor. The churrasco was bland. The bread basket with bread sticks was brought to our table at the end of the meal, once we had finished, and the bread also was unremarkable and flavorless. No one was picking up the empty plates (from soup, salad, or main dishes) or drink glasses and these crowded our table. There were fruit flies flying around on our table and around the menu. The espresso was weak. I won't be returning here because the quality is not what it used to be and it appears they cannot...
