☔️ ☀️ 😍 🌴 This is the BIGGEST mall in the Caribbean and you can easily spend an entire day here. It’s a great place to go on a rainy day ☔️ or anytime. If you’re here on vacation, you might not think to go to a MALL, However this Mall might be very different than the one you have at home!
There are shops here that you might not see in other places, Seniors: They have wheelchairs for visitors at no cost but they are lent on a first come first served basis 🙏🏽 . There are shops here from Spain 🇪🇸 that you might not see in other places 👠 , there’s also a large multi screen movie theater. 🎥 🍿 there are hair salons ✂️ and even a passport Center run by the US state department 🇺🇸.
There’s a Popeyes chicken here - order the spicy version 🍖 which is hard to find on the island. And there’s a terrific huge food court 🥘 🥩 🌱 offering some fast food that you won’t find in the contiguous United States like Argentinian Steaks and the cheapy-cheapy El Mesón For a delicious Mallorca sandwich with eggs and cheese or even pancakes with Café con Leche – you can order breakfast there all day long!!!. Go to JCPenney and take a fun family portrait or do one with friends at their portrait studio 📷 , JC Pennys used to have a fantastic Hair Salon too so check on that! 🇵🇷 Head to Pueblo supermarket 🛒 to get your groceries, there’s even a Walgreens here 🤕 but if you’re near the Viejo San Juan/Cruise Port Area, I suggest going to “Puerto Rico Drug Store” 🏆 near the plaza de Armas on Calle San Francisco, it’s been in business for 170 (!!) years and they are the nicest people you could meet on the island!!
🤸🏽♂️Okay, Back to the mall... I recommend for a sit down meal restaurant “Romanos macaroni grill” that also have a kids menu and a fantastic red wine list 🍷 if you’re a Solo visitor you can sit and eat at the bar – I think they’re also located near the Caribbean cinemas movie theater in this mall but call just in case I feel you’re planning to do dinner and a movie there 💕 . PF Chang‘s is good here too. Look for the kiosk that sells Israeli 🇮🇱 bath salts, they are fantastic! If you’re into shoes 👞 and 👟 sneakers you’ve come to the right mall!
Check their website which is both in English and Spanish ❤️ , to find out about events being held here, often there are interesting craft fairs or holiday happenings.
You could easily spend a whole day here 😴 but their hours of operation are from 9 AM- 9 PM. There’s plenty of parking 🚙 and the parking lot is safe but of course always keep aware. This mall is VERY well-managed 🏆 and has a fantastic security team 💯 , it’s a bright white huge facility and it’s everyone’s favorite place!!! Definitely get here either by Car, Taxi or Uber. It’s a uniquely Puerto Rican experience! 🇵🇷
I’m not sure if they do it anymore but they used to have a fake snow ⛄️ performance for kids during the Xmas season. I think Disney took a cue from Puerto Rico when it comes to family fun. Disfruta! Enjoy! 🇵🇷🤸🏽♂️🇵🇷🤸🏽♂️ PS Service animals only, no...
Read moreYesterday my wife and I decided to stop by the Olive Garden in Plaza Las Americas around 12:30 pm for lunch since it looked EMPTY. We figured service would be swift. We checked in and were informed that we had to way. We waited for over 10 minutes to be seated, even though the place was 95 empty. When the waitress took us to a table, right by the main entrance, and only entrance, I asked to be moved to another more privately table, At this point the waitress, with a very negative and unprofessional attitude, told us that was the ONLY table available for us. Based on her attitude and disbelieve of the situation we decided to walk away and find a better place for lunch. This represent a very poor management skills and a very poor trained staff. We will NEVER stop by this place again!!!!!

Of 5 Stars, we give them 1/4 Star, just because the place looked empty and no other costumers would suffer the embarrassment, time and hunger to use this restaurant
Some times the best idea is to walk away and STAY AWAY...
