Went in last night to get a couple new pods for my device. The girl behind the counter had my current pod in hand, opened up a box to compare and grabbed new ones for me. They ended up being the wrong pods and would not have worked with my device. Completely fine, it happens, not mad about that at all. What got me is when I went back this morning to exchange for the correct pods and when I handed the box with the still completely sealed, unopened pods to the guy with glasses and explained that they're not right, he told me it's my fault because I didn't open them first, then he put my pods and the wrong pods in my face and very condescendingly pointed to the numbers on the bottom and said "see how one says one thing and the other says something different?" while tapping on them and scoffing. Are you actually joking?? My bad for expecting that the employee who looked at them and said they were right may have known what she was doing? This guy treated me like I was stupid and like switching them out was such a major inconvenience. A customer shouldn't have to open a product before leaving to make sure it's right, especially when it's the same thing they've gone in there for a hundred times. The real kicker is after acting all high and mighty, his big smooth brain still gave me the wrong pods. I just took them & left bc I didn't feel like dealing with him anymore. Had to come Christmas Evening for a little party snack and was immediately hounded by the only attendant for our ID's before we even had a chance to talk and see what item we wanted to buy. The whole process was awkward with him yelling over and over to get our ID's with other people in the store who just entered but he wasn't hounding THEM for their ID. Not sure if it's a compliment given I'm nearly 30 or if he was just unable to regulate his emotions about having to work on Christmas... EDIT: I can see the response made and I want to clarify 2 things : 1) I am well aware of the law regarding underage users, especially in a college town, however there is a startling difference between asking for ID AT time of purchase as is custom of every other shop here I've gone to for the last 7 years VS as soon as you step into the store being asked over and over and over for your ID before you even can look. 2) We did not gave to guess through tone, but rather being told by him of his frustrations of working that night and how people come in one after the other with no rest, meanwhile it's like one couple at a time. He needs to learn how to regulate himself if he's finding it frustrating that he can't do inventory or sit down. My personal note to him: It's just a vape store, relax and learn to control what you can vs what you can't.

Went out to my car and took a puff of 2 of the vapes that tasted like nothing. No flavor at all. I went back inside and asked if I could trade the 2 that didn't work for just one of the other brand that did and he told me because I walked out the door he couldn't refund them. I was literally in the parking lot for 30 seconds
He spent about 4 minutes cutting me off and telling me it doesn't have flavor because it's 0% nicotine, (oh..?). And sorry, its policy. I told him you should probably have people test in the store like the Holy Smokes in New Braunfels and he cut me off to add that they are of no relation to any of the other Holy Smokes locations (which I guess is good if its true because the one in New Braunfels is great).
I am a business owner so I am pretty understanding of policies, and ignorant customers. But being rude about it and talking over me, telling me my ignorance is the reason the vape didn't work is unprofessional, as is blowing a vape cloud in the face of my girlfriend and I when showing me things behind the counter.
So here you go Josh (made sure to tell me his name for his 5 star review), you saved $40 on my return but it cost you...
