Sara's Kitchen — Local services in San Mateo

My company doordashes lunch for the office on Fridays, and today my coworker chose Sara's Kitchen. It seems to be a new place. They have some peruvian dishes and sauces which is already a huge plus for me, I love peruvian food! But for this time I chose one of the burgers and got some huacatay sauce with it. The burger was fantastic. The staff was so friendly too! As a thank you for the big order (it was for a large office), they threw in some freebies too! We will definitely be ordering from here again. My coworkers said the breakfast food was also delicious, next time I will go for one of the peruvian specialties. Oh, the portions were also excellent, and I am a fan of their thick cut steak fries. I wonder if this is a ghost kitchen, or if I can...

I tried the shrimp lemon-garlic cream spaghetti (“Shrimp in the Beach”) this morning and it totally hit the spot! I’m usually pretty particular about cream sauces, but this one had the perfect balance — light, flavorful, with just the right touch of lemon and garlic. The shrimp were seasoned so well and cooked just right.

Bonus: it came with two mini waffles on the side — such a fun and generous touch! It was more than enough food, and I actually saved some for later. I’m already looking forward to trying more...

What a great surprise.! I love Peruvian food and this was a wonderful find. The Chaufa, Saltado and the Peruvian style burger were delicious!! Everything was fresh and cooked with plenty of flavor, and executed perfectly. Looking forward to going back to this gem...
