Terrible service — seeing others reviewing here have had similar experiences. Honestly surprised a small business allows their staff to drive away business at this rate. I’m not knocking Sandpoint but it’s not Beverly Hills lol that’s for sure. So weird to watch people who work a retail job behave like they’re better than their own customers. They must realize our purchases fund their little bi-weekly checks, right? 😂 Get with it, please… it’s embarrassing.

I’d suggest training your staff to not treat patrons like they’re beneath them. Each interaction both my partner and I had with two separate staff were laced with truly rude and inappropriate behavior. I imagine they don’t come outright and say horrible things but instead display their contempt in tone and demeanor. Not sure what sort of example to provide, it was overall a horrible experience. I see several reviews here stating the same. Seems like the source of the issue is clear and it’s totally uncalled for to make people feel so unwelcome.

Condescendingly staring at me while I select items for purchase and answering any question I had as if it were literally draining the life out of them just to be helpful is not service. My husband and I decided to shop around Sandpoint today. We went into Finan McDonald clothing to look at what they had. My husband wanted a new pair of running shoes. The guy in that area was rude to my husband when he said he was looking for some Sauconys. The guy flat out said I don’t think I have any of those on clearance. Which my husband responded back to him I’m not looking for clearance. I might dress like a bum but I’m not. My husband and I had such a great experience here last week. The staff divided and conquered helping my husband in one department and me in another. So much solid advise, positivity and time spent. Unfortunately my husband's size was out of stock. I wasn't comfortable buying the expensive pair of boots I found because I often need to return (sensitive feet) and I don't live in Idaho! We will most certainly visit next time we are in the area. What an awesome store! We very much appreciated your expertise...
