219 Lounge — Restaurant in Sandpoint

This is the 2nd time I have visited this establishment. The experience was about the same. It's pretty typical bar atmosphere of a younger crowd mentality...except there's quite an eclectic group of people that seem to be regulars that span a variety of age groups.

The drinks are quite expensive, especially considering the pours seem light, sweeter drinks are sickenly sweet, and the Long Island is a pre- mix. The bar itself isn't very clean by any means so don't bother to wear nice shoes as they will probably end up douced in alcohol anyway.

With that being said, it is although, the ONLY place in the Bonner/Boundary county that stays open typical bar hours. That's great for a night-owl like myself. The menu above the bar is an easy-to-read lighted sign, they have a foosball and pool table, and live-music...

The 219 is the place to go in Sandpoint if you are looking to experience authentic local night life. The owner and staff knock it out if the park with their customer service. Great live, local musicians, plentiful booze and beer selection, outdoor patio with a fire in the winter and drinks and dancing in the summer. Advice from a local : if you like Bloody Mary's ( normal person's Bloody Mary, not one of those garish salads in a cup with a chuck roast on a stick in it) 219 has the best in town. Also the chalkboards in the women's restroom are a never ending source of entertainment, and therefore this is my favorite restroom of any bar in Bonner County and trust me I've been...

Went there for a birthday party with a large group. I looked around and saw that there weren't many people working at the time and got a little worried with how much food we were ordering and more and more people coming in.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they got orders out, how they remembered everyone's orders, and the food was delicious. The staff was young, but super friendly and professional. I'm impressed! (We got the Jalapeno poppers and the Chicken waffle sandwich.)

Will be going here again for a nice...
