It cost almost $4 for one scoop of ice-cream BUT THAT WASN'T the problem. The problem is, for the money you pay, its the smallest scoop of ice-cream I ever got at an ice-cream store. It is LITTLE KIDS SIZE. Very very small....it didn't even come over the top of the larger sugar cone, it was below the top it was so small. It was a total rip off for what you paid. We have been to Sandpoint many times and decided to visit this cone and coffee shop for the first time to check out their ice-cream, and we had out of state company too we took there. They were ripped off too with the tiny bit of a scoop you get there. We will never go there again. We are not complainers but when its a rip off, everyone should know that when they go there, they will pay close to $4 for a single very very small scoop. I mean, at 31 Flavors its close to the same price and you get tripple the size of a small scoop in the large sugar cone they give and it comes well over the top of your cone. If you only want 5 bites of a cone, then go to Panhandle, but if you want an adult size single scoop, go somewhere else. We loved the taste of their ice-cream but thats about all you get for the...

This is the quintessential smallish-town ice cream shop with unique flavors that you are hoping for! The leaning-trendy type atmosphere is filled with a few inside and outside tables to enjoy your cone of deliciousness. The Cold Stone quality like ice cream can be devoured along with their full coffee service, or grab a quart to-go with their ready made ice cream just chillin' in their freezer. This place is within about 2-3 blocks of the city beach and the easy walk makes for a great beach break to cool down with some ice cream. Is their menu writing small? Sure. Does one wish there was a little more inside and outside seating? I do. Do you wish they put tiny chocolate plugs at the bottom of their cones so it's not dripping out? We can all dream right? Overall, they earned 5 stars and another trip from our family to try some...

Panhandle Cone & Coffee isn’t just ice cream it’s a full-blown flavor adventure. These folks don’t stop at vanilla and chocolate; they’re out here mixing things you never thought belonged together… and somehow making them taste like pure magic.

One scoop feels like a fun date, two scoops feels like a committed relationship, and by the third scoop you’re wondering if it’s legal to marry an ice cream cone in Idaho.

From sweet and savory mashups to flavors that make you question your entire childhood, every combo here is a masterpiece. Whoever is behind these creations deserves a Nobel Prize in Happiness.

Bottom line: skip dinner, go straight here, and let your taste buds sign up for the rollercoaster. Panhandle Cone & Coffee is proof that life is too short for...

Icecream is absolutely phenomenal. Coffee on the other hand was terrible. I watched her dump roughly 4 oz of milk into a cup before adding my two shots of espresso and topping with ice and water. When I asked her if it was my americano with a splash of CREAM. She said yes. When I asked how much cream, she said an ounce. You can tell by the color alone it’s not correct. They’re slammed so I’m not going to make her remake it but I’m pretty disappointed in the coffee

The orange dark chocolate freckle ice cream was the best! So why don't the get 5 stars? We travel a lot and know when someone is seriously asking about us out of interest or when they either want a good review or are following a customer service script. The young man who waited on us asked the same questions of the people before us and those who followed us. We would have been happy to eat our ice cream in peace and quiet.

Pretty sure this is the best icecream in Sandpoint! Loved the many and creative flavors! One can tell it is fresh and handmade! If they don't have a flavor you like that is fine since they create original flavors every month or so. A great place for a family or date or just want to a quick treat from a quality place. It is a small venue so if you have a big group don't plan on sticking around and sitting down.
