Do NOT order business cards printed from Office Depot. My experience at the Mt. Vernon location was ridiculous. I ordered "same-day" business cards to be printed and picked up in the store. My online order confirmed that my cards would be ready by 7:00 pm and that I would receive a text when they were completed. I was never notified that they were completed, so I went to the store at 8:30 pm. The cards had not been printed and I had to wait for them. When they were finally printed, they were incorrect; cut off the side, wrong font, different font sizes. I was told it had to be an issue on my end; however, I had taken a picture of the preview when ordering the cards and everything was inside the "safety line" and looked perfect. I was then told to re-submit the order again online and then return tomorrow, even though I had purchased SAME-DAY business cards and needed to have the cards. In addition, the manager, Kelly, refused to speak to me. I recreated the cards online and took pictures of the preview and edit screen for proof, AGAIN. When I came in the next day to get the cards, they were printed wrong AGAIN!! The manager Kelly was working the print and copy services this time. She said that I must have done something wrong and proceeded to recreate my card design on the computer herself. This was a long and drawn out process. I felt disrespected that I could not create the cards myself and had to go back and forth with her on how I wanted the design of MY business cards to look. I was exhausted from trying to look at a computer from an angle to explain the design to her. At this point I was very frustrated, but I had no other options because I needed the cards. One hour later the cards were printed. The words are not lined up and they are in a different format than what I originally wanted. If you need business cards, PLEASE use Vistaprint. You will receive your product as YOU designed it with no issues. I have been a loyal customer of Office Depot for years, but I will no longer recommend them, nor will I be purchasing from them. I am currently struggling through an exhaustive process to get a refund for the incorrect print jobs. I paid for three print jobs, two of which were completely incorrect, and I was only refunded for one. In addition, the final product that I kept was still disappointing and I am...
Read moreDO NOT SHOP HERE! (Dunwoody Store #434) The store manager Kevin Leung is racist and condescending towards customers. I purchased two Office Depot branded binders that were too small via Apple Pay and when I went to the counter to process an exchange for a larger size the cashier said that she didn’t see the receipt in the bag and called her manager over. The manager - Kevin, comes over and states that Apple Pay would not help track the purchase and that he would not honor an exchange. I pull up my credit card transaction history to show him the recent purchase and he says he can’t do anything with that information. To reiterate - the binders were just purchased, it’s their store brand and in mint condition! As he said this, I was grabbing my bag and noticed that the receipt was stuck to the bag - I showed it to him to begin processing the exchange, but then he proceeded to ask me questions that he already knew the answer to “why are you returning this today” in a condescending tone. I explained that I already shared my story of why I was doing the exchange, and did not need his spiteful behavior and wanted to process the exchange quickly. He stopped, stared at me and said that I have to answer him or else he couldn’t help me. What a bully! I grabbed my things and asked another associate to help me because I could not believe the nerve of this guy and he followed me to bully me into doing the exchange with him. I refused to pay him any attention and went to the young woman at the other counter. I also immediately noticed the shift in his tone and energy with a Caucasian male customer in line. I have never had such a terrible experience like this from a person that is in a leadership role. I contacted the 1-800 # to file a complaint and I couldn’t help but notice all of the recent terrible reviews online about Kevin. Shame on Office Depot for not reviewing the online reviews from...
Read moreIt is disgusting and shameful how your staff participated in racial profiling. A young black man came into your store and purchased several printers. At the cash register, he entered the wrong pin number, and you all consider that scamming and called the other stores to alert them.
#1 I have entered the incorrect pin number for a debit card before it could be that I press the wrong number. It could be because of the keys being sticky. It might even be that I forgot which card I was using at the time that is not a reason to profile a person. #2 you were able to call the other store the one that he was going to next to alert them that he was on his way. How many people breaking the law tells you where they are headed next? Does that even make sense? #3 in many stores your credit card or debit card brings up previous purchases did you all not look into that to see if this was a legit customer before jumping to conclusions? The most important thing to realize is that you put this young Black man’s life at risk. How traumatizing to him and his family and loved ones.
It’s disappointing for sure! To the higher ups at Office Depot. You all need to do what you can to make this right. The victim of this racial profiling needs to have whatever supports and requests satisfied. Your staff needs to undergo anti-bias training, and to realize the impact of racial profiling.
You all profiled , the wrong one !
He deserves justice- I will take my...
