Taco Mac Perimeter — Restaurant in Dunwoody

I'm all familiar with Taco Mac due to my previous dine-in experiences near the Mall of Georgia area, but this location receives an incredible score and some praise for a few reasons that I wish to indulge everyone with.

To start, the Monzarella Sticks are, hands down, THE BEST appetizer I've ever had PERIOD! NO ONE will ever touch those at all. So big, so flavorful, and the cheese from that was so dang stringy, I couldn't contain my big happy behind! Literally, I was too immersed with the app. So it gets The Glow score: 10/10.

My drink, Caramel flavored Sweet Tea, was definitely the low brow for me however. The flavor didn't enhance anything to my Tea and I didn't feel the cloudy appearance to my drink was appealing aesthetically; it caught the attention of two tables beside me, and the flavor was....wow. In fact, I high recommend the caramel flavor to be removed as an option for the drink. To make up for that though, the Mango and Strawberry flavors are MUCH better in quality.

The Chicken Wings was the main event, as it is Taco Mac's signature. I got with Extra Crispy joint and banged it up with the Garlic Parmesan flavor with some Honey Chipotle sauce on the side. The crispy crunch from the chicken was music to my ears but the flavor was all chicken, no seasoning. I didn't even taste the garlic or the parm at all and I was disappointed. Though I dipped the chicken in the sauce to enhance the flavor game, I gave it a luke warm "7.75" score. Not to deter anyone, but go for a different sauce for the chicken for better results.

The Dessert, however, was a glowing "10" for me. It was the chocolate pie with the Guinness beer drizzle to make the flavor mature and sooooooo sweet! Gracious it was absolutely 💯!!

And lastly, can I say Ms. Danawzha was a wonderful server?! YES I can!! She recommended be what I ate and aside from that winning smile that can knock a few socks off my size 18 feet, she is an amazing person to be fully immersed with who she's serving. Her voice didn't change, she was real, and she kept it real. I love that in those who serve me, be it male or female. If anything, she deserves whatever accolades thrown her way and then some.

Overall, Taco Mac is a good dining experience and a treat when you're in the mood, but this location is an epic win and highly recommended spot to go and enjoy! I'm very sure there are some good quality servers there and the Manager is awesome but definitely go for the Pie and the Monzarella Sticks. 😃😃😃

I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service provided by Christopher at this establishment. Not only did he mess up our order, but he also exhibited an astonishing level of rudeness and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It is truly disheartening to encounter such incompetence and lack of professionalism.

We placed a simple order for a single order of wings, and Christopher assured us that it would take a mere 20 minutes. Little did we know that those 20 minutes would transform into an excruciating ordeal that lasted far longer than anticipated. After waiting for 20 minutes, then 40 minutes, and eventually a full hour, we decided to inquire about our order's status.

However, instead of offering a sincere apology or even attempting to rectify the situation, Christopher responded with an appalling lack of concern. He callously declared, "It's not ready, and I don't know when it will be." Such dismissive and uncaring behavior is utterly unacceptable in the realm of customer service.

Frustrated and eager to receive our long-awaited meal, I insisted that Christopher check with the kitchen about the status of our order. Reluctantly, he went to investigate, only to return with a plate of ice-cold wings. It is inconceivable that someone entrusted with the responsibility of serving customers could exhibit such disregard for basic quality control.

Christopher's conduct throughout this entire ordeal was nothing short of disgraceful. His lack of accountability, rude demeanor, and inability to provide basic customer service should serve as a warning to anyone considering patronizing this establishment. I sincerely hope that the management addresses this issue promptly, as it reflects poorly on their establishment as a whole.

In conclusion, my experience with Christopher has left me thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. It is clear that he lacks the fundamental qualities required for providing satisfactory customer service. I strongly advise against engaging with him or this establishment until they can rectify these...

I arrived at the place at 9:22pm, and the front hostess didn't even greet me when I walked in. At 9:42 p.m., the same hostess came back and asked me if I wanted to sit down. I replied yes I would like to sit down and she then said to give her a moment. There was not a big crowd of people here at this time, and there were plenty of tables available. I counted at least 13 tables and booths available. There was one party of people that walked in right in front of me. The same hostess sat the people in front of me at 9:46. A waitress came and asked me if I was being helped, and I replied that I had been standing there for over 20 minutes waiting for the hostess to seat me. The waitress then replied that she would go check on her to see what the hold up was. Another waitress then came to sit me at 9:58pm. The waitress sat me at a booth in the corner where I waited until 10:13, and then I flagged another waitress that was cleaning and asked her if she knew who my waitress or waiter was going to be. She replied that she would go and try to find out for me, and I replied, "Thank you. At 10:33 p.m., a waiter came over and explained that he was so sorry and that he did not know he was supposed to be my waiter. He was not professional at all while explaining this to me, and at this point, I asked him if could I speak to a manager. He replied yes and asked me if I still wanted to order. I replied yes and I ordered my food. At 11:18 pm, my food or drink had not arrived, but the manager arrived at my table. I explained to her in a calm manner that I was very unsatisfied with this service tonight and I explained to her how long I had been sitting and waiting for my food after it took forever just to get seated with so many empty seats around me. The manager apologized for the wait and told me that she would take 20% off of my meal when it does come. The waiter came immediately after the manager left my table.
