My friend goes to school here. She offered me a free facial. She sent me the link to their booking website, told me to choose the service and make sure to click her name and choose a date. I did all this, and had an appointment booked with her specifically. I was very excited and also nervous about being judged for my acne. When I showed up for the appointment, the girl at the front desk was horrible. No smile, hello, how are you doing?. Just a blank face and "do you have an appointment?" Once she found the appointment on her computer, she explained that my friend could not do my service because for some reason that I don't know, the system switched it to a different technician. Apparently my friend was not doing spa on Thursdays anymore, but the website let me click her name and book an appointment for a Thursday. The desk girl said that if I wanted to do a facial with my friend then I would have to rebook for a different day when she was in the spa. Then she asked if I would still want to do a facial today but with someone else. Obviously I was not going to do it with someone else because I wanted to use the free voucher. Then I started to explain my frustration about being led to believe that I had an appointment with someone specific and then it was changed and no one told me about it. And I had to drive 30 minutes (so an hour total wasted ) to the school for the appointment just to end up disappointed. The girl at the front desk did not listen to my complaints. She didn't validate my frustration, and she didn't apologize. She was insincere and turning hostile. And I don't know for sure, but I think that as I was about to walk out, an instructor walked down from the hallway. Whoever it was, she heard part of this conversation and when I looked at her she wouldn't even make eye contact. As I turned to walk out, the girl mumbled "sorry". Needless to say I didn't actually get any services here. They might be teaching skin care here, but they are not teaching customer service. I was treated poorly for one reason or another, and I really hope it wasn't for my...
Read moreI wasnât going to leave a review, but they have asked me to so here you go. This was my first time getting a wax service done and I know I have sensitive skin so I decided to call early and ask some questions about what they recommend for sensitive skin, and what their procedures are. The receptionist was very rude to me on my first call and told me that she would have an esthetician Call me back to answer my questions. No one called me back so the next day I called back where the receptionist again was very rude. Upon arrival, I still had not filled out my consent forms, so I went to go speak to the receptionist again about filling them out, and she was again very rude to me and didnât give me the correct consent form. I had a really nice girl for my waxer that told me she was on the master side of her program and more experienced. if this is in fact true, she needs a lot more training. She was not very confident or good at waxing really at all. Out of all of the strips only one was a clean pull and all of the other ones she didnât hold tight enough and werenât able to get the first time. Including having one break. The friend that I was with also had the same service done and also had issues with her waxer. That also reported she was at the end of her program, I would not recommend anyone to come here for a Service seeing that both of these estheticians were not proficient at the service and at the end of their program. When I left to go pay, the receptionist made derogatory comments to me about my character, as well as judgmental comments to my friend, as she had the four interactions I had had with her before. It is a really nice facility, and the aestheticians seem very sweet, but they are not properly equipped to be offering the public services. As well as at this establishment they have terrible customer service and I would recommend getting a different receptionist that creates a welcoming environment. Itâs worth it to go somewhere and...
Read moreI purchased a set of 6 laser treatments here back in April. The first appointment is a preliminary test, so treatments didn't really start until May. The first two were great. Staff was courteous and the treatments on time. Then the machine broke. They didn't call so I showed up. They tried to used the other, large laser machine for the small area. It didn't work. They still hadn't repaired or received a new machine by the next month. Or the next. The next time I showed up they told me they'd cancelled my appointment. "Didn't you get a call?" "No." "There should be a voicemail." "No, no voicemail." "Maybe yours was the one with the full inbox." "No, I keep my inbox empty for just that reason." "Let me get my manager." Uh-huh. The manager proceeded to tell me that they had the wrong phone number, that they'd called someone else with my EXACT same name. I didn't believe her. I don't often meet people with my first name and I've never met anyone with my exact same name. Even if that was true, it means poor office administration, mixing up files with personal information. Then she read me my phone number from the file, the RIGHT phone number. She said that she'd put me on a list and they'd call me to reschedule as soon as the new machine was in. I was livid. I'd taken vacation hours for this. Here's the best part. They had the machine within three days of my being there. My sister was also scheduled for treatments there (on my referral). She's told me she's been twice now with the new machine. No phone call. They lied about the call to cancel my appointment, the voicemail, their not having my correct number, likely the client with the exact same name, and about calling me back to reschedule. There probably never was a call list. They need to teach a class about basic business and customer satisfaction. Don't lie to your customers. If you can't fulfill the service, inform them. If you made a mistake, admit it, apologize, and do what you...
