Posted to Facebook Feb, 17, 2018: I ordered flowers for my boyfriend's mother since her birthday is Valentine's day. I was looking for a local store near them so the flowers would arrive on time and with everything together, so I picked Aroos since they had five stars on google and facebook and everywhere else I saw them. They're also right down the street from where my boyfriend and his mother live. I placed my order online (Teleflora's Victorian Teacup Bouquet) on the 6th of February asking for the delivery on the 14th. AND I remember clicking the no substitutions button... I kept checking my email expecting something to be wrong with my order since I asked for it to not be substituted.
The 14th rolls around and I've been waiting all day for these flowers to show up at her house. I called the store twice earlier in the morning and no one picked up. I tried again in the afternoon and a gentleman picked up. I asked him about my order and he was clueless and tried to check his system before telling me that online orders where still on the truck and he had to check if it was still there and they'd be delivering soon. Hours go by and still no flowers! I call them again and a different gentleman picks up and he's even more clueless. He tells me they're already out delivering, the truck left two hours ago, and it will be there in 5 minutes. at 7pm I called again... The second gentleman picked up. I asked him about my flowers and how come they haven't been delivered yet and he's still not sure what to do. He tells me that the delivery is 5 minutes away from the house and it will be there shortly and then he takes my number down to call me for confirmation of the delivery. At 7:30pm the flowers finally arrive... 7 at night. I've been waiting all day for these flowers to show up for my boyfriend's mother's birthday and they arrive at night. AND to make matters worse they substituted the entire arrangement. Instead of the floral printed tea cup, she has a cheap looking striped vase. And the roses aren't cream and pink, they are pink with dark pink tips.
I waited all day for these flowers, and they aren't even what I ordered! Btw No one has called me back at all!
Update as of Feb, 25, 2018: Due to a request from the store on facebook I called the store again. A man picked up and "transferred" me over to someone who could help. A Gentleman called Martin who oversees the store and isn't a manager but helps the managers out, offered me a refund. Out of a $54 order, he said he can only refund me the amount for the vase which is only $7-$10... or another flower arrangement (which after last time- no more flowers from here).
He wasn't entirely helpful and wasn't the friendless and he really kept making excuses about the mistake. "It's the busiest day of the year" "They didn't check the online order" "substitution are used in every flower shop" It goes on.
As someone that's worked in retail and understands how busy things can get for different holidays, there's really no excuse for not checking the details of an order. Still pretty upset with this flower shop. I won't be ordering from them again.
However all I can honestly thank them for is getting the refund done on...

Not only did the flowers finally deliver and LOOK NOTHING as advertised...I spoke with the manager who argued with me that the flowers are based off a recipe...making it seem and making me feel like what is posted online is NOT what you are going to get. It is all about a recipe so if the recipe is 24 roses then you will get that but it will NOT look look like what they post online. So BUYER BEWARE. I was generous to not ask for a full refund and I was generous to ask to be refunded the amount for the middle sized flowers even though the photo clearly looks like a basic...so 20+ dollars and I would get an email on Monday. Well it is now Friday and guess what guys? No email. No refund as promised. And you will see the facebook response the business responded back to me with. DO YOURSELF A HUUUUUUGE FAVOR AND NEVER BUY FROM HERE.
I do NOT know how this place has 5 stars...let alone still open. I got up at 530am to place my mother flowers for her wedding anniversary. Mind you this is the first anniversary since my dad died. I called at 130 to check the status and the guy I spoke too was clueless. Put me on hold to eventually tell me they didn't see it and that it will be taken out in an hour. I call back in an hour to check the status...because they were to be delivered to my mother's office and she would be leaving work in an hour and half...and the lady passed the phone to another lady who was more clueless than the guy I spoke to. She could not tell me what orders went out other than the last shipment was already out for the day. I asked would I be notified if it was delivered and she said "I don't know that information probably not." I asked if this was standard protocol and she said "I don't know..." given the meaning of these flowers and believe me that was disclosed with no sense of urgency to help me further....I. WILL. NEVER. ORDER. FROM. HERE. AGAIN. If the flowers do not look like the "luxury" flowers I purchased at 120 dollars I will be demanding a refund. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE....

The Flowers were delivered. a little complicated to get to reception area but DANNY did a great job and the beautiful flowers were delivered successfully!! Thank you so much for making my friends birthday even more special. When i called the order DANNY was so nice and helpful. He made it so easy to order. I will definitely be using Aroos florist in the future. DANNY kept me in the loop and he even sent me a photo of the arrangement before delivery as I asked him to do. How GREAT is that??? I did suggest a go pro to get my bff's smile on camera when she received her surprise flowers!!
