My best friend and I were working near this restaurant and wanted to have a glass of wine after work. We googled "cute bar near me" and weren't disappointed. The entrance is on main and easy to miss but we called and were greeted by the friendly owner. A wonderful server then met us at the door and cleared space for our suitcases. The menu is compact with an excellent choice of elegant and yummy Spanish food and beverage. We sat at the bar and were served complimentary seasoned Marcona almonds. We were only stopping for one glass of wine but ended up having 3 glasses each of the delicious tempranillo and although we had already eaten, we couldn't resist ordering a slice of their sublime cheesecake. My friend took a piece home for her daughter. The restaurant is small and charming with a free parking lot behind it. We wanted to compliment the chef and we were impressed that it was the sous chef producing everything on her own from an impossibly small cooking area. We would have never guessed that given the high quality of her dishes. We were even more delighted to learn that our wonderful server was actually the owner that we had spoken to earlier on the phone. It's a great place for a date or business meeting. We expect to be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. I would give this place ten...

Spanish style tapas and wine bar in a rabbit hole father's office.

Make way for a very intimate space where the small bites are almost proper entrees with its generous portions and bold flavors that pair with some eclectic wine-tails (wine cocktails) and a colorful selection of rioja wine.

The menu is very deceiving with some simplistic descriptions but gives a pleasant surprise when the dishes come out. The flavors, the plating, and even down to the dinnerware it's served in you're falling into this little world of deliciousness that could be a Zagat or James Beard level cuisine.

Ambiance is very dreamy and almost theatre-esque with the soft floral wallpaper, large format mirrors and crimson velour drapes tied off with golden tassels. Simultaneously the bar display gives the casual experience of sitting around the island just in front of a wet bar of your dad's mahogany colored office.

You're able to catch Chef Van whipping up every dish with intensity you forget that multiple plates have gone out until one of them reaches your side.

At the time of this review, the restaurant is in its infancy and I am excited to see it grow and gather its footing around the historic Santa...

Holy moly! What an amazing experience there! Where should I begin?

Service: A-MAZING!!! The owners were there. They were extremely attentive, personable, friendly, and always be smiling. The restaurant is not big, so they were able to take care of each table equally.

Atmosphere: very modern but yet classy looking. Love the marble bar! So pretty! They dimmed the lights throughout the night to keep it nice.

Food: SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! We had the wagyu meatball to start. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. summer squash salad. Very well seasoned. Super refreshing. Great dish. Paleta De Iberico was the new stuff and paired it with Manchego cheese, woooooo!! Gambas (something I forgot the name). It’s the shrimp dish with garlic and parsley. They freshly cooked it right in front of you. Served with bread. The garlic was amazing. Spread it on the bread and dip it in the oil. Yum!!! mushroom with onsen egg and chimichuri. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! The onsen egg was soooooo perfect with the mushroom. basque cheesecake. Homemade! Very moist, perfect texture, and not too sweet.

100/10 definitely...

My husband and I came here for a date night and we absolutely loved it. The owner is SO friendly! Hearing about how he opened the restaurant was so cool, we love supporting local small businesses that really care about the quality of what they’re putting out. It’s a rotating menu so you might not see these, but these were by far our favorite dishes of the night: - seasonal veggies (served cold which is interesting but the pesto is sooo good) - pork in piquillo peppers - pork shank (we ate these down to the bone) - and of course the basque cheesecake for dessert I think you have to try the ham butter & bread because it’s a staple there, but if I’m being honest I wasn’t too impressed by the flavor of the butter. I tasted parsley and mustard more than ham. Only downside about this place is the parking situation. We ended up having to do one hour metered parking and just risked getting a ticket for staying longer. That won’t stop us from coming back! Thank you for an incredible dinner, we’ll see you again soon.
