Day-Day's Smoke Shop — Local services in Santa Ana

one step into day-day's and I knew this wasn't just some old hole in the wall "smoke" shop that hardly carries anything useful. on the contrary, day-day's i think may have the distinction of carrying EVERYTHING you or anyone else might need, from the common everyday item to things you've never heard of before in your life.

honestly the square footage is almost intimidating, esp if you're trying to get a sense of where everything is. not to worry though, because the folks here are super chill and never rush or make you feel unwelcome, and are knowledgeable on just about any question you might have regarding even the most obscure items not found elsewhere. which imo is an all to common fault in most other "smoke" shops - you'll walk in and it's the 70 year old owner who couldn't tell a glass banger from his phone which he happens to be on a call to Bangladesh on all throughout your awkward shopping experience. that doesn't happen here.

I just wish they were open later, or even 24hrs. I'm nearby right now with money burning a hole in my pocket but they're closed, and it's only 9:30 pm. think about it, Day-Day's, is all I'm...

I didn't want to believe the other reviews, but they were exactly right. The guy working was the rudest smoke shop associate I've ever met by far, and also one of the rudest people in general. I would've spent more time in the shop, as I was looking for a few items, but this guy made me want to leave as soon as possible. I paid for my overpriced bowl piece and got out of there asap. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, they certainly don't check ID correctly. The employee brashly demanded mine, and I am of age, but didn't even care about checking that of my underage friend, who was directly next to me. If anyone can even attempt to explain that, I'd love to hear. I definitely won't...

The cashier in there is always very informed and knowledgeable about the items that they carry. The shop itself has the most variety of any smoke shop I've seen. And I haven't even looked through all of it. They have a huge selection of baseball caps as you're walking in through a maze type entrance or haunted house type when you get to the store part of it there are endless amounts of displays filled completely with every kind of pipe bong or accessory that you might be looking for.
