Mom's Supermarket — Local services in Santa Ana

For Asian people, just buy DO NOT return. Why is that ? Because it happened to me when I bought 4 jars of hot pot and I did not see the Prop 65 Warning that they stick it on the bottom of the jar for purpose. So I found it when I put it in the trunk of my car then I came back inside to return them. It took 10 minutes to wait in the line and the lady said that you need to go back to the line that you purchased the items to return...??? Big question for me. So I back to the line that I check out before and wait for another 10 minutes, so the same lady who checked out the items she asked why you return 4 while you bought only 2 of them. I said what....? Then another supervisor came and check on the bill for couple minutes she said that product have 2 different prices on the bill. I DID NOT know they have 2 different price on the same product...then the process for return took me about 15 more minutes. Unbelievable with...

Tons of parking space outside everywhere, cheap and affordable prices on their goods if not cheaper than the usual American markets. It does get pretty packed on the weekends, but it's a pretty good supermarket, not bad for a Vietnamese market, I guess.

I did notice there's a security guard patrolling the parking lot, and the other stores, and a security guard at the front, so I guess that's cool.

It is a Vietnamese supermarket, after all, so if you never stepped into a Viet market before, then don't be surprised. There's Ralphs, and then there's Vietnamese...

Thứ 7, ngày 7 tháng Ba - Tôi đã lựa chọn xong hàng và tính tiền ở chợ Mom. Tôi có hỏi một nhân viên tính tiền của chợ là Vani gói ở chỗ nào. Trong lúc đó, thẻ của tôi đã gắn vào máy, cô ta chỉ tôi chạy tới 1 quầy bên cạnh để lấy vani. Nhưng trong lúc tôi đi lấy Vani, thì cô ta đã tính xong phần đồ tôi để lên counter lúc đó. Lúc tôi cầm gói vani trở lại, cô ta bảo rằng bây giờ line của cô ta đã CLOSED ko thể tính thêm cho tôi gói vani này, và yêu cầu tôi xếp hàng lại ở 1 quầy tính tiền khác!? Tôi KHÔNG HIỂU đây cách là kiểu phục vụ gì - Lúc đó tôi là khách hàng cuối cùng của line cô ta, trước khi cô ta CLOSED. Cô ta cũng CHÍNH LÀ NGƯỜI kêu tôi đi lấy thêm gói vani đi, trong lúc đang tính những thứ khác cho tôi - Theo lẽ thường tình khi tôi đã lấy xong món hàng cuối cùng, gấp rút chạy lại tính tiền thì tại sao cô ta ko cộng vào hoá đơn đang tính luôn cho tôi, mà bảo tôi phải đi xếp hàng lại. Lại còn bảo line đó đóng rồi ko tính cho tôi được nữa!

Ban quản lý phải training lại nhân viên nếu không muốn tiếp tục mất khách, vì chợ ở Nam Cali này thật sự ko thiếu! Không ai ép mình làm job mình không thích - Nhưng đã làm thì phải làm cho đúng trách nhiệm và nhiệm...
