EDIT 2019: what absolute moron thought it would be a good idea to replace the dirt track with cement. Look I know I said the dirt track was not well taken care of, but how do you expect anybody to run without messing up their legs when you've changed the dirt into cement. You do realize that a bunch of kids come to this Park and play on the apparatus equipment that are scattered around the now cement track. If one of them was to fall they would most definitely hurt themselves. One of those soft track overlays should be placed over the cement so people are able to use the track for running again and so people don't hurt themselves. Get it together LA County.
Original review: After living near the sports complex for all these years, I definitely have to say that the quality of the complex has degraded.
Ever since one of the original staff by the name of Steve Treatman left, not as much effort has been put towards upkeeping the facilities. The restrooms are atrocious and sometimes aren't even opened on the weekends. The inside and outside of the sports complex building is in dire need of a repaint. The track is completely destroyed and no effort has been put towards restoring it. There is no dog park, which at this point with all the dog owners around I would think one would have been put in already.
This is of course not to say that it's not an enjoyable place to take friends and family for picnics and hanging out. I still walk here every morning on Saturdays and Sundays. I just wish it could be in better shape.
There are plenty of activities to sign your children up for as well as playgrounds for younger children to have fun at. However I'm unsure of how much these facilities are also wiped down and cleaned as the state of the other facilities...

You may see riff raff hanging around once in a while. The play grounds are pretty clean. They have a walking path with different exercise stations, i.e. situps, balance beam, monkey bars, etc. The skate park is pretty new & has lots of different areas...
