I bought a Queen sized mattress at Mattress Nation (Santa Cruz) with a five-year warranty around 2.5 years years ago and it required warranty replacement.
However, Mattress Nation no longer did business with the manufacturer and that manufacturer was not responsive to me and told me to have Mattress Nation call them.
Mike, at Mattress Nation, phoned the manufacturer many times without getting any responsible response from them. Mattress Nation was under no obligation to phone them for me, yet Mike phoned them repeatedly to help satisfy this customer.
When Mike’s repeated attempts with the manufacturer failed, he offered me three alternative mattresses. When they were not agreeable to me, Mike offered me three more alternatives, including my same mattress in a Cal-King size and a discounted-cost upgrade to a Sealy Queen mattress with two times longer warranty than my current mattress under warranty. I exuberantly purchased the Sealy.
The great lengths of Mike’s dedication to satisfy this customer are unheard of in the mattress business today or in any business, for that matter. I am very fortunate to have bought my mattress from Mattress Nation and receive the high quality of service from Mike. I will never buy another mattress elsewhere. Nor will I ever hesitate to recommend Mattress Nation and Mike to anyone.
Thank you, Mike, for your patience...
Read moreSo far, not so good. Education during the purchase process was nonexistent and given the fact the platform I was sold was different from that which was under the floor sample (also something I was not informed of) I find my mattress very unsatisfactory to my needs. Both my husband and I have serious physical disabilities, of which I informed the sales rep, but that was not discussed with me. (I've since visited three other mattress stores, each of which informed me they always fully discuss the needs, and sleep habits of their customers.) Also, even though I purchased a Cal.King mattress (not split) I was sold two twin platforms (other stores could not figure that one out). The installation process was a nightmare for us and, although the store promised to send someone out next time they were in there area I have yet to hear from them some 5 or 6 weeks out. I guess I have to avail myself of the "comfort guarantee" process, i.e., exchanging the mattress to get the comfort we need. Right now we get up in the mornings worse off than we were on our previous TempurPedic mattress. We'd have been better off just keeping our old mattress. Will update review after I do so. The moral of my story is: either the Santa Cruz store does not train its staff well, or, my sales rep, Adam, is someone to be avoided...
Read moreI bought a temper pedi queen mattress and a floor display bed frame for the mattress. Less than 3 months after buying the bed the slats kept falling out of the bed. Which required me flipping the mattress onto the floor to put the slats back in. I’m 68 years old female and my partner is disabled with mobility difficulties. This was not a one time event and turns out the the slats didn’t have some of the plastic securing devices in the original bed frame so I was destined to flip the mattress every other day to fix the slats. I went back and forth with the sales person and finally had to agree to buy a bunkie and pay for delivery for them to remedy the condition. I ended up paying over $ 4000.00 for the bed with the bunkie. I wish the sales person would have told me a bunkie should have been part of the initial package. Anyway I won’t be buying from them again. I bought a bed with Mattress Firm less than 2 years ago and called them accidentally before getting in touch with Mattress Nation. I told them my dilemma and they said no problem you have a three year replacement warranty. Of course I don’t need to use it cause there is no problem with the bed I bought from them and it was half the price of the Mattress Nation mattress. So I learned I can get a bed cheaper with less hassle from...
