Mission Hill Coffee & Creamery — Restaurant in Santa Cruz

The girlfriend and I went in when we were walking by after the spa. First thing that caught my eye was a board that said "know the source", which listed where the ingredients came from. It'd be nice to see more places do this. Then the service - the kids who work there were some of the nicest and friendliest I've had in a while. We tried some (most? lol) of the flavors - most were good, or really good. We got the strawberry, because it had actual pieces of strawberry mashed into the cream. So.good! Probably also tasted better because we got it inside the waffle cone. The cone was done so fast, that we really wanted to get another, but decided against it (sugar, sigh). They serve pour over intelligentsia coffee. Always down for that. Oh and they gave us a small piece of the fresh waffle cone to taste. Totally...

I love the ice cream you offer! Yesterday I got a blueberry goat cheese ice cream and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a really cheesy flavor but instead the goat cheese just gave it an extra rich and creamy texture. Absolutely loved it and want to go back today to get a pint because I know your flavores change all the time. I also had the lime-cardamom and Jasmine wakabe (it was seaweed but I'm not sure I remember the exact name properly) which we're both really tasty too but the fresh blueberries with the goat cheese really made my tastebuds happy!

Also, I prefer to go to you over the Penny Ice Creamery because they don't offer a stamp system and their ice cream always leaves a strange film at the top of my mouth. Yours does not!

This is by FAR the best ice cream establishment in Santa Cruz. The flavors are fresh and deliciously tasty of what's prepared daily without being outlandish. Yet the flavors are unique and enjoyable! The strawberry is my favorite because the flavor is so authentic and rich without being overwhelming - simply fantastic. Another favorite of mine is the "Big Cookie" for about $5 the chocolate chip and walnut! Please try, as sure it won't be disappointing. Also, they have a variety of teas, including chai that I like to order as well as coffee drinks. Plus service is top-notch! An all-around place that beats The Penny Ice Cream, Cruz Creamery, and...
