This is difficult to share, but this has been my store for quite some time. Even if I'm not near home, I still find an Aldi. But this is my home store.
Let's just start with I've got a disability. That's all you need to know. I politely asked the clerk as I always do, to please stop the belt so I can load it. Normally, nobody ever has trouble with it.
Well, today was much different. When I asked him to stop, he didn't at first. Then I asked again. He seemed bothered by the request. Then, he began to act rudely. Telling me not to tell him how to do his job.
I told him I always asked whoever was there to stop the belt. That they always do. He was the first to not want too and the first to dishonor such a simple request.
I informed him I've got a disability and that I'd really appreciate it if he just kept the belt still. I apologized to the shoppers behind me.
He then rang up my stuff with the biggest attitude. Telling me again that nobody tells him how to do his job. I asked him to stop, that this was my home grocery store. That I only shop here. I asked for a manager. He says he is.
I requested his name, and he declined, stating it's on the receipt. I tried to call corporate right then. No luck. But I'll get through tomorrow.
I've never been treated wrong at an Aldi. Years ago, as a single parent to 4 kids, this was the place that saved us. I still hold that loyalty, but maybe I'll just go to a different one. Further from my home.
Ramon, you're a terrible manager. How would I know? I, too, am a manager. A project manager for a massive entertainment company. I know how to treat clients. Today, you proved you need more training and supervision.
Maybe Aldi will care. Maybe they won't, but you ruined a year-long relationship in a matter of just a moment. Also, this place has been looking a little bad lately.
Always trash in the lots. Cans overflowing and carts full of trash. Maybe the one over on whittier blvd is nicer? If he's the manager maybe that's why it's looking like this?
Really sad day. I was having such a nice one. Came in to get special food to cook for my daughter on break from college. Now...
Read moreI only visit Aldi if I absolutely have to (i.e. don't want to drive a little farther), but I dread coming to this Aldi on Telegraph because some of the staff is incompetent and rude, especially at checkout. For some reason they have to throw and slam food into the cart as if to try to damage your items which you literally just bought. This is especially annoying when you have sensitive food items like produce, pastries, and chips. Most of the time, the staff is off pretending to be doing something else and would take forever to come to your assistance as if the store is a giant warehouse (it isn't) which is by far the biggest problem which this store. I regret and hate coming to this store every...
Read moreNever an Issue coming here until this morning.. I had the most rude person ring me up, Silvia was her name according to my receipt. I asked for a price check and she said she didn't know it so I asked if there was anyone around that can help me get the price then she started to guess the price (annoying) she seemed in a rush (I was the only one there, no line) she also had an 'I don't want to help you' attitude when I walked in the store I heard some people arguing. Mustve been her, and unfortunately she must be taking it out on the rest of the customers. I left passed that she couldn't be of help. I wish they had more people on the...
