This store used to be great, years ago. Now, it's way overpriced, the cashiers are either rude as hell or don't know anything - can't answer any questions.
We used to buy things from their auctions all the time. Until we started finding discrepancies in their listings. We quit purchasing for about 2yrs after being burned too many times.
Recently I decided to give it another try and bought a couple items from the auction again. Lo and behold they are still listing things incorrectly. Out of 9 items I purchased and just picked up, 5 of them didn't match the descriptions. They were either the wrong color, size or just a different item all together. The lady at the front told me they just scan the sticker and post whatever comes up. Soo....you don't bother to check the items? This is exactly why I stopped buying here. I scanned the items and the correct item along with similar items popped up on Amazon. It appears they're just taking the very first picture that pops up and posting it with the provided description, without checking it. So makes me wonder if they're actually testing the electronic items they're claiming.
2yrs ago I bought a rose gold, light up gaming keyboard and matching mouse. Upon pickup, the mouse in the box was a plain black mouse. It did not belong in the set, it was not the matching mouse to the keyboard. I brought it up to them and she just said "yea they were all missing the mouse so we just put one in there". Lovely, false advertising. I was not given any kind of discount or refund for the missing mouse.
The auctions are the only prices worth paying, but beware you may not get what's pictured. Do some heavy research on what you're bidding on and what the description says, and make sure you check everything...
Read moreI have been a customer of theirs for several years. Since I live in Houston,, I am not a âfrequentâ customer, but I was a loyal customer.
When they had two locations , I have brought merchandise at both places.
Several months ago, they began having auctions. I have bid and won several times.
2 months ago, I won two auction items that totaled $2.48.
It clearly did not make sense to drive to pick up these two items.
This week Amy called and reminded me about a auction that I won last week and one other one. I indicated that I would be there by Friday to pick up all 3. She said okay.
Today, when I went, they gave me the merchandise for the two auctions, I asked about the third auction (mind you, auction items are paid for at time of closing bid).
I was told the third auction items were no longer there. The person wasnât rude, but not overly friendly either, she said it was left too long and they didnât have it.
Okay I understand, so I asked if they would give me a $2.00 credit and I was told no.
Iâm sure the two items were sold again and possibly much higher than what I paid for them.
A $2.00 credit would have made me walk around the store and I would have easily spent way more than a $2.00 credit. I actually I found at least $30.00 that I planned on buying, prior to this exchange.
In my opinion, a bad decision was made over $2.00. Not only did I not buy anything else today, I have decided that if a business is willing to lose a customer over $2.00, they donât seem to value my business In the future.
I try to support small local businesses, and in this case, this is something...
Read moreYes cheaper than Amazon, yet thats not the name of your establishment - unfortunately here the prices set are not anywhere close to liquidation as you will see in person and with the uploaded pictures as well.
On the plus side. Staff is very kind - store is legit organized very well and us no doubt one of the nicest of its kind who caters to this market.
If they'd take a different (retail) approach in full by finding that sweet spot in pricing would obligate customers towards more of an impulse buying behavior rather than the one I had which was to check the difference between listed and shown price. That said difference although noted, didn't induce or evoke wow! ok let's spend some money! Instead I've gone knowing its cheaper than (most) other regular retail shops both online and brick and mortar yet if I'm looking for something exact than ...well if you've read down to this point then other than gaining a detailed grasp in my opinion of the pros and cons but you also now can show an great example of the adjective; verbose!
