The Fish Place is a newer restaurant here in Santa Fe. This was the first time we visited this establishment. We were greeted immediately, and the waiter Marcus was very attentive. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We followed his suggestions, and he was spot on. My wife had the fried shrimp platter with hush puppies and fries. All three were perfect. Just the right amount of crisp. Marcus suggested the blackened red snapper covered in a white spinach crawfish sauce. It's really delicious. I had the green beans and mixed veggies for my sides. Both were good. I'm not sure if it was the manager or owner, but she stopped by our table to make sure everything was up to par. Overall, it was a great experience. We will be back to try the crab and boudin balls. I think everyone should give it a try. If this review helps leave me a thumbs up 👍.

This place is fairly new over in Hitchcock we had breakfast. It was very good hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My eggs turned out just as I ordered. The only thing I can comment on the grits came with butter already in them a little too much for me but if you ask, they will put it in a small cup so you can add what you want. Also make them hot, mine were slightly cold. Everything seem really good. Definitely will go back and try their lunch specials or something perhaps for dinner our waitress was Sharon, do ask for her when you go, maybe I’ll see y’all there for lunch or dinner. Keep it up very good..

It's great to get another seafood restaurant here in the Fe. This one doesn't disappoint either. The atmosphere was welcoming and down home country. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good all around. Though some things were under seasoned (vegetables) but overall this is a great place that has daily deals and large portions for the price. We'll be back for sure.

The crawfish in the crawfish étouffée were rancid!!!! my grandfather wasted $20 worth of étouffée. Just poured it in the trash!!. I ordered the chicken sausage and shrimp gumbo and it ended up being the wrong order! It was the seafood gumbo. The oysters were absolutely disgusting they were no shrimp or sausage just a nasty three day old fish!!!! I honestly don’t understand why people order from here. Every Fish Place has been garbage for a long time and a seafood place with a drive-in window is disgusting and we will not be going here ever again $44 down the drain. I’ve lived on the gulf coast my whole life! Fake crawfish with black on the split. I really don’t understand people around here. Who grew up around seafood think this place is great. I guarantee you most of the reviews are not real. I give good reviews to good places. Many of times not just bad reviews. This...

Wife and I fish most ever weekend, we typically stop here to grab dinner after an exhausting day on the water. I've been coming here since they opened, was great up until the last couple times went back figuring that everyone deserves a second chance, well they got their second chance and the last, Ordered the 5 and 5 catfish and shrimp with the appetizer consisting of 2 each crab balls, boudin balls and stuffed shrimp , crab balls were undercooked, hush puppies were burned, catfish has shrunk to a fish stick, shrimp was overcooked, nice and chewy. To top it off, they gave me ranch dressing to dip my catfish "sticks" into, on a positive note, the fries were tasty. But that was pretty much it. Never again, I live here and would rather drive 50 miles to another establishment than to get...
