Valhalla Hi-Fi — Local services in Santa Rosa

I stumbled upon Lone Crow Audio a few weeks ago on a classified web site and inquired about the Hifi Rose streamer that John had available. I had a couple of email exchanges with John and inquired whether I would hear a difference with the Hifi Rose over my current streaming device. John confirmed that I would hear a difference knowing the audio equipment I had.

After a phone conversation, I decided to order it based on John's recommendation. The streamer I was replacing was okay but I recently upgraded the amp and preamp to higher end audio equipment.

John was excellent to work with on this purchase. He shipped it out to me as soon as it came in. The OEM box was overboxed, so the carton is in excellent condition.

I would make another purchase with Lone Crow Audio in a heartbeat. I do hear a noticeable improvement in the SQ on the HiFi Rose. I wish we had more stores in the Chicago area like...

I purchased some Daniel Hertz Eva loudspeakers at Lone Crow. I first heard them back in October 2023 but wasn't ready to buy. No worries, John and Tony demonstrated them all over again for me in March. They were fair about pricing even though the manufacturer has increased it since October. They were patient, accommodating, explained things quite well to my level of understanding.

All in all it felt friendly, no purchase pressure either the first trip or the second and then they accommodated my delivery schedule with ease. I've been involved with audio since the 1970's and have never felt so at ease both visiting and purchasing. They feel more about enjoying the music than squeezing every last dollar out of their customers....

I had a record player and a tape deck serviced at this shop. I could not be more happy with the service. I was greeted by two employees when I first walked in and was shown their high definition audio show room. After a few days I picked up my devices and multiple things had been fixed with the record player including replacement of audio out cables, replacement of belts, and replacement of an era correct stylus. The tape deck was unfixable it turns out, but they offered me one of their used units for sale. Both items sound and function perfectly! Additionally, the younger employee in the pony tail (i believe his name is Lucas) was super attentive to my concerns about the record player. Can't thank and recommend...
