My friends and I decided to visit Russian River Brewery, anticipating a great time and delicious beer. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. We were let down by the establishment's poor service, which left us questioning whether this brewery was worth the hype. Upon arrival, we were prepared for a long wait time, which was expected for such a popular spot. However, we ended up waiting in line for over five hours just to be seated. This was already incredibly frustrating, but we decided to persevere in the hopes that the experience would improve once we were seated. While in line, the hostess asked if we had any seating preferences, inside or outside. We expressed that we were open to either option and simply wanted to be seated as soon as possible. However, what transpired next was truly baffling and left us feeling disrespected and overlooked.
As we waited in front of the line, A group that had been far behind us in line was seated before us. Confused, we brought this to the hostess's attention, only to be met with dishonesty. She falsely claimed that we had expressed a preference for a specific seating area, which was not the case at all. To add insult to injury, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake. This blatant disregard for our time and the dishonesty displayed by the staff at Russian River Brewery was disheartening. It soured our entire experience and left us questioning whether the wait and frustration were worth it. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Russian River Brewery based on our experience. While their beer may be highly regarded, their customer service leaves much to be desired. If you're considering a visit, be prepared to potentially face hours of waiting and a lack of honest communication...

When Russian River Brewing co-owners Natalie and Vincent Cilurzo opened the doors to their new Windsor facility last week, they expected a crowd, but nothing too outrageous.
Sure there would be an opening rush but it wouldnāt be anything their new 260 space parking lot couldnāt accommodate. Plus, the lot was built more for the crowds associated with their Pliny the Younger releases, not opening weekend for the 85,000-square-foot brewery and Within a few hours, 1,400 people showed up.
āIt was incredible. On that first day, our parking lot was filled. Every single space. Filled,ā Natalie said. āIāll be honest, we also had this small moment of panic where we were thinking āUh oh, is this the new normal?āā
The crowds have subsided over the last few days, Natalie said, but the overall service numbers are still significant. Itās all part of a monumental step for Russian River. Just last year its footprint consisted of a small downtown Santa Rosa brew pub, which remains open, and a former Santa Rosa production facility, which they no longer use.
Russian Riverās new facility has a 200-seat restaurant, an outdoor beer garden, two bars, a fireplace, mammoth Sycamore slab communal tables, a tasting room and a gift shop. Tours of the facility will be available next month.
There are more than a dozen beers on tap, including Pliny the Elder, a pair of IPAs in Happy Hops and the Blind Pig, as well as a special Windsor-inspired porter, among other things. Outside of the craft beer, there are

Ā Ā Ā Read moreA bad start turned good. We arrived 25 minutes till 9 pm Friday night, 25 minutes before the last call for food (according to their policy). We walked in to sit down, not realizing that you have to be seated by a host, we were greeted by a frustrated host who explained that there was a line waiting to be sat and they are simply too busy to seat any more tables now, but I was welcome to go to the bar to order a beer... We drove an hour and a half to have dinner there and of course some beer but It wasn't pleasant to hear that I couldn't eat now after that drive, esp when it was clearly still within their timeline. So, of course I expressed frustration of my own then walked off, debating just leaving to eat somewhere else. After a few more minutes the host walked over to my wife and said that someone had just canceled their place in line and that they would seat us. I was admittedly angry about how that situation was handled but at least we were able to sit and order food so thank you.
Thank you staff for stepping up to make a first impression. The food was amazing! (Although the margarita pizza was literally just a standard cheese pizza with strips of basil leaves... Smh) and the beer was...
