The California Theatre of Santa Rosa — Attraction in Santa Rosa

The California is a pretty cool theater space really putting in the effort to bring together a diverse clientele under multiple artistic disciplines. I've seen plays, improv, music, dancing, open mic, and karaoke. They do have a bar. I think they have a kitchen, but I'm not aware of food being served at the time of this writing. There is a little bit of a feeling like you have to be a part of the "in" group, but if you keep showing up there, you'll be in the group pretty quickly. They are very supportive as well, so if you've got a talent to share, they will support it...even if it's awkward. You don't have to show up perfectly...

Wonderful Venue space and Staff is always great!! So happy they have added a short menu of food items. Incredible talents and a more of a mellow, kind of early 70's coffee House type of vibe this evening.... A kind of refresher to think about, and enjoy the stillness and respect for the Musical Artists. Always Love the Amazing David J + Comrades and special guest Schlee. Thank you LuLu & Angel, and the California bar & Kitchen staff for always making us...

Have been to a couple of shows here now and really love the venue. The size is perfect, the stage is great, nice selection of food & drinks, and best of all of course are the variety of shows. Had lots of fun at a standup comedy night and the Wednesday Weirdness series. Lots of great concerts & dancing too. Look forward to a season of great entertainment here....
