I am a Kore believer now. I admit that I was one of those that was skeptical that a dedicated gun belt would actually make much difference as compared to a normal thick leather belt. I had a thick leather belt, but my pants were always sagging under the weight of my gun whenever I carried, requiring constant readjustment. It finally got to the point that it was so frustrating that I had to try something different, so before giving up on IWB carry, I decided to research gun belts. I found these kore essential gun belts at the top of everybody’s list, so I gave them a try. Holy cow! Night and day difference! I used to have to cinch my belt down so tight it dug into me to have any hope of holding up my gun, but now I can have it at a comfortable tightness and my gun stays put. It used to be that I would have to adjust my pants 10 times or more during a typical Walmart run, whereas now I hardly even notice it anymore. I think my favorite thing is that when I get in the car, I can simply push a button and loosen the belt for a seated position, and then quickly cinch it back down when I stand up without having to unbuckle my belt and awkwardly fix it like I used to have to do. These particular belts are perfectly suited for either casual wear or dress purposes. They look just as natural with a suit as they do with blue jeans. I like having a black and brown one to go with just about anything I wear. These belts are rigid, but comfortable. The ratcheting system allows me to get the perfect fit, whether I’m standing, sitting, or just had a big meal. lol I have no doubt they will last me many many years.

I give this company two stars. They have legitimate, excellent products. I purchased a regular belt for every day wear and a duty belt for work. The duty belt is super easy to set up and even easier to wear. Why’d they lose two stars? I had to purchase a second inner liner belt, to replace the one that came with the duty belt. I followed their instructions, to a T. That’s where I made my mistake. I measured my waist, with the measuring tape that was provided. I marked where I was supposed to and then lined up the measuring tape with the inner belt. The instructions say to cut the inner belt to the length that the measuring tape says your waist is. Well, I did just that and now I have about half an inch of inner belt to secure the inner belt around my waist. Now, if I layer up and wear thermal underwear, the inner belt will not even secure. I didn’t consider layers, until after I cut the inner belt, so I can’t even wear thermals inner belt in the winter. I had to burn through another $40 to buy a new inner belt, because they aren’t responsible for people’s mistakes, which is understandable. But at least update the instructions to have people keep more material on the belt and cut down as they see fit. I can only imagine how many customers have made this mistake, only to have to buy a second belt. I’m definitely not going to be a returning customer. Great merchandise, but I hate wasting money, needlessly and that’s what happened here. Not cool. I could have spent the extra $40 on another work related item.

Kore makes great belts! I'm around 4 years in, maybe closer to 5 years, with the Brown Leather Belt. I carry AIWB daily and my holster has a Metal Clip. I also carry full size. So it's pretty good weight. All this to say this belt is Used and after all these years I'm just now beginning to see where Metal has been rubbing the belt. Been wearing it for a pretty good amount of time and it's Still Strong and Still Looks Great! I've tried other Belts but none look this nice and Perform like a Gun Belt while looking like a normal Brown Leather Belt! I also have a Black one for dressing nicer. I'm a jeans and t-shirt or nice shirt depending on the occasion type guy. I also like the fact that I have the Buckle I like and can just get a New Belt when needed. These are Built to Perform and Last. I'm quick to share about Kore when people ask. These Belts speak for themselves! If you want a dressier type Belt that Both Looks Nice and Performs, Kore is the one for you! I have attached a picture of my Kore Belt and Buckle. I have been using this Belt coming on 5 years. That's 5 years of the Metal Clip to my holster sliding on and off everyday and this Kore Belt is Still Strong and Beautiful!

Great quality, terrible customer service and deceitful promises. They are not 100% mindset back guarantee. I purchased this item over other high end belts because I wanted to buy American and made in the USA. I wanted to support a company that I felt was good.

The good:

The product build quality is awesome, the buckle amazing, engineering great.

The bad:

Customer service is condescending, unapologetic, and honestly deceitful. Whoever runs their customer support is straight up bad and has caused 9 people who are going to purchase these belts and many more who were on the fence to buy from other premium battle belts. These were people at classes I've taken, the club I shoot with, and also the firearms dealers where I shop. I always buy from businesses that are local or USA made.

Here is why I'm writing this review. I purchased this belt and received it in the mail. The packaging is pretty underwhelming but I bought a belt and not a box so that's ok, I just expected more. I saved up and passed on others because I'm a bit once cry once kinda guy. Other belts that I was into were the ferro concepts and the ronin belts. When you open the box there is a pamphlet with a qr code and some quick instructions. On the pamphlet it says add 1 in to your belt size, on the same pamphlet there is another set of instructions that says add 4-6 inches. Very confusing and misleading. Since all their belts are based around him belts and edc is very easy to be mislead. I watched the video and followed along. I got to the point to cut and proceeded to cut it. If I followed the one set of instructions it would have left me with inches of adjustabillity. But with the given instructions it left me with a 1/2 inch of extra tail. This totally defeated the purpose of adjustment system because of I let it out anymore it would not engage and be too short.

This is where KORE takes no responsibility and their fine print comes in the form of the last 8 seconds of their instruction video on the qr code. The warning comes AFTER they tell you to cut, after how to put it together, and at the very END of the video. At the end the presenter says belts that are cut are not eligible for a refund. They purposely put that at the end knowing that people will follow along and cut when they say to. They do not stand by their money back guarantee and hide it behind the fact that they tell you at the end of the video.

I reached out to them and thought they would be more understanding. I accepted the fact that part of it was my fault for not waiting to call them but I felt that doing what they said would work.... It didn't work out. I felt because of how they wait till the very last part of the video that it was by desihn and how they could pry more money out of the consumers hands. They denied any part of confusing instructions and basically are condescending and don't admit it empathize that someone might have to a legitimate claim. I'm any case after 2 emails they say we'll give you a 20% discount off of an outer belt. The insult is that you already spent a bunch of money and then they get you to try and buy another belt where they still make a bunch of money off. I was thinking about buying something else through their website and left with the cart still open. I receive an email that says hey will give you 10% off if you still wanna buy what was left in your cart.

I like the product but it is a 1/2 inch away from being unusable. I spent $140 ish dollars on this. The outer belt replacement is $70 before tax and shipping. The 20$discount really only equates to around $7 if you think about how they throw a 10% discount if you put something in the cart and don't complete. The purchase.

I have prevented a handful of sales and at least 10 from even looking. When I go to a range day I hang my belt up and put a paper where everyone can see that says wanna buy a KORE BELT? Ask for more questions. I them tell them my story.

I have reached out to other premium manufacturers who offered me more just because of my experience with kore....

I recently picked up a Kore multi-cam battle belt, and after using it hard at the range, I can honestly say it’s the best tactical belt I’ve ever bought. The build quality is beyond fantastic – it’s tough, durable, and made to handle some serious wear and tear. The stitching, buckle and MOLLE tabs are solid, and they definitely all took a beating last week. The pattern is sharp and really blends well with my other multi-cam gear (gotta be tacti-cool) It has a professional look that’s perfect for any training you want to do. Also don't worry about cutting it to size, Its super simple, so simple in fact that I managed to do it, without losing a finger or wrecking my new belt (10 Points to me). When it comes to comfort, this belt really impressed me. It’s fully adjustable and fits perfectly due to the ratchet system. The width of the belt helps spread out the weight of your gear, so it doesn’t dig into your sides, but doesn't look chunky at all. I’ve worn it for hours without any discomfort or sore spots, which is a huge plus. The ratchet buckle system is perfect, no more clips or standard buckles for me!. Its totally adjustable while wearing the belt, who doesn't love that?. The inner belt with the hex is absolutely amazing, I cant believe that nobody has thought of this before. The hex just makes everything better and you don't have to worry about frustrating fitting, it also keeps everything in place securely, so it doesn’t slide at all about while running. The MOLLE system is solid with great stitching. I’ve been able to attach all my gear and everything stays snug in place. Even with a full load of gear, the belt doesn’t sag or shift at all. The MOLLE loops are sturdy, and I’m confident they’ll hold up even if I add more attachments down the line (which I will, obviously). One of my favorite things about this belt is how light but strong it is. It gives me plenty of mobility without sacrificing support. It doesn’t restrict movement but still holds everything in place securely. No "bouncy time" at all. All in all, this battle belt is exactly what I needed. It’s tough, comfortable, and super functional. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable battle belt that can handle everything you throw at it, this one’s is definitely the one for you. I couldnt be happier, thank you to Kore,...
