I was in town for a family reunion. We spotted this little bar and Grill when we were shopping at the local grocery store after my family reunion my daughters and I with my grandson decided to stop there and eat before I drive home. The atmosphere had a good vibe And lots of TVs, which was really nice. We sat outside the way just came and took her order we ordered water with lemon all the way around and then some cocktails. The waitress brought the waters with no lemon and then sat a drink in front of my six month old grandson which he grabbed and dropped to the ground and broke the glass. It took a while for her to bring a replacement drink, and then she sat a table next to us and a table behind us, the table in front of us was being served their order. The table next to us got their food order, and the table behind us got their food order, and here we were sitting with water And empty cocktails. We were waiting and waiting and waiting and finally she walked over and said are you guys ready to take your order at that point? I was so disappointed that she had bypassed our table and served the other two tables that were seated after us that we just kindly asked for the check and that we left. I was very disappointed how we were treated. We were the only African-American people in the bar while my kids are African-American I’m Hispanic. My kids are mixed and I just felt like it was very obvious that she really didn’t want to service and I don’t know if it was because of the color of our skin or she was just rude and not very organized in the server I would’ve loved to have tried the food, but I never got a chance to drinks for average, but the service was horrible and I would never ever ever go there again so if you have a mixed race kids or you’re not white, I would think twice before going there very...
Read moreI recently visited Junction 52 Bar & Grill and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While we were seated fairly quickly, the service took a downward turn from there. It took quite some time before our waitress came to take our drink orders, and by that time, we were already ready to order our food. Despite this, she only took the drink orders and it took even longer for her to return to take our food order.
To make matters worse, our order wasn't prepared as requested. We specifically asked for the hangover burger without buns, but it arrived with buns anyway. This kind of oversight is disappointing and shows a lack of attention to customer preferences. Additionally, the cinnamon French toast was a major disappointment. The edges of the toast were dry and the center seemed to be drenched in an excessive amount of egg, making it taste soggy and liquefied. It was far from an enjoyable dish.
Furthermore, the Belgian waffles we ordered looked like they were prepackaged, similar to the ones you find at the grocery store. For a restaurant that prides itself on its cuisine, this was a letdown. The lack of effort in creating a homemade feel to the waffles was quite evident.
Throughout our meal, our waitress checked in on us very minimally and seemed more interested in rushing through the process than providing attentive service. This lack of attention to detail and customer service is disappointing and does not create a pleasant dining experience.
Overall, my visit to Junction 52 Bar & Grill fell short of my expectations. The slow service, incorrect order, subpar food quality, and lackluster customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning to this establishment...
Read moreWe (my mom and I) are picky about customer service (both have experience/my sister worked in restaurant business for over 15 years) so believe me when I say this was possibly the best customer service I have ever gotten. Our waitress, Ashley was so friendly and quick to offer drinks and check in on us (admittedly after a drink or two I was probably loud) and Ryan, the food runner, was hilarious when he came by and I accidentally gestured/lightly smacked him. The drinks came out quick, the fries and appetizer was delicious, and the proportions were well worth the cost (we both went home with leftovers). Additionally, when Id inquired about their Mai Tai--which my mother ordered-- even after my mother dismissed the question Ashley and Jenny followed up with the rum that was in it (which was good because it was a coconut rum and Im allergic so I did not try it!) Our water was also kept adequately filled even without my noticing! Overall, its hard to put down all the small actions that really made our stay there great, but the short version is it felt like the wait staff (especially Ashley and Ryan) really enjoyed being there and there is no better way to feel welcome than that. Highly...
