Walked in with my e-scooter ($1,300 scoot) I walked a few steps to the left there's an office there and asked politely the lady working there( happens to be one of the owners) if I could please place my scooter on the corner outside of the office where theres a camera pointing at it while I shop. She looked at me up and down made a sigh and said " GET THAT GIZMO OUT OF MY STORE!" I felt humiliated, embarrassed and discriminated also confused on what I just heard. I told her I didn't have a lock and I just wanted to leave my scooter on the inside of building so no one steals it if left outside of store. She snapped her fingers at me pointing towards outside and at the same time the other owner of the store( her husband) walks up to me and says "Did you not hear my wife??? Get out of our store now!". I was in shock I held my composure and told them that's fine I will never come back here and shop again that's no way to treat a customer...it felt like almost if I stole something the embarrassment I felt was overwhelming..Not sure if they pulled a race card on me or what but I swear I felt anger and hatred coming from their energy...So Beware they are racist here! DON'T GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS, SHOP ELSEWHERE (Latino,Black and non...
Read moreWorst experience today. Tried to use my American Express card and since the new owners took over they don't accept that. There was no notice of this until I went to pay for groceries. I saw after the fact they had a tony sign stating no American Express at the register. I tried to pay with another card that for some reason didn't work. I couldn't use my wife's account because they needed a physical card. I couldn't venmo or zelle, they didn't let me pay an extra fee to cover the American Express fee. I didnt get to leave with my groceries and there is no number or way to contact the owners for customers or the employees. As someone who has shopped here for over a year, I'll never go here after this experience. They lost...
Read moreLooking for a hearty breakfast, cooked well and served fast. Head to Perry's Cafe and experience one of their massive frittatas. I had the Mexican, loaded with at least a half pound of stewed shredded beef, onions and bell peppers and topped with a generous helping of Colby Jack. Hash browns and a mini loaf muffin are served on separate plates to accommodate the large portions. All were super tasty, definitely enough food to save some for a later snack. The food is just the second best thing about Perry's. You gotta check it out for the throwback diner ambience of a bygone era. The waitstaff are friendly and they hustle about, never letting your coffee go below half full. This is a one...
