Medical Department Store — Local services in Sarasota

I was in this store earlier today. The staff is beyond amazingly helpful and very caring. Unfortunately they no longer accept medicare, but they were able to point me in the right direction for my mother-in-laws needs. They even explained what they offer and if we decided to go through them when we would be able to get a hospital bed and their rates. They also gave me their card and even informed me of their other office which is closer to where we live if we needed their service. Their store is very clean and very well organized as well. EXCELLENT service. Alberta was amazing and so helpful. I needed a lift chair for my Mom after her open heart surgery. I was not able to come into the store as I was working. Alberta helped me via phone. She asked me questions and was able to help me choose the perfect lift chair recliner according to my Mom's needs. She sent pictures via text then helped set up immediate delivery. The chair was delivered to our home same day where the nice delivery guy showed my Dad and daughter how it worked. From start to finish the Medical Department Store in Sarasota, FL has been a Godsend. We called Christine on a Saturday (just before they closed) to see about renting a lift chair for my mom who just had knee replacement surgery. They were able to complete the entire order over the phone and had a chair delivered and set up in her home by Monday afternoon.
