Busy, high-energy restaurant with tasty food. I hadn't tried Mi Sitio before, and I just happened to be passing by and hungry, so I decided to give it a shot. I got the arepa with shredded beef, and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. It was served with a trio of tasty sauces. I really liked the cilantro sauce and the garlicky sauce. Prices were reasonable, and the staff seemed friendly. I will definitely be back!
Updated to add: I recently came back here with my daughter, and we both enjoyed it very much. The prices have gone up significantly since my last visit (as they have everywhere). Our server was very nice, and the service was good. It looks like they have renovated since I was last there. It was very clean and fresh-looking. The music was not too loud (loud restaurants are a big pet peeve of mine), and it was a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere to eat in. The food was very tasty...
Read moreI used to come to this place but unfortunately this last visit has been unpleasant. Waited 30 min for 3 empanadas. I went in with the intention to eat four empanada, a juice and order some food to go. The server brought one empanada and the juice after a short wait with the promise the other three empanadas were almost out. Well, 30 minutes later and one empanada in my belly and my juice was drank, the empanadas were not ready yet nor on my table. I got up and asked the cashier to charge me for the 1 empanada and the juice as I do not longer have time to wait until they decided to notice I was not eating but the table in front of me, who arrived shortly after I put the first empanada in my mouth was. I will not longer come to this place. Service matters and unfortunately this place did not serve me in this last visit. Things happen, we are humans but showing the intention to serve is everything...
Read moreNice and friendly people, but the food is the worst colombian food ever. Super greasy, low quality ingredients and for flavor they use the cheapest and unhealthy seasoning. I got very sick, throwing up. I hope people that gave good reviews try the real delicious Colombian food. This food doesn’t have any of what Colombian food really is. Maybe only tje names and appearance. I ordered Bandeja paisa , the beans were worse than cheap can beans, the egg was overcooked burned on the edges, they told me next time I have to request that eggs should not be overcooked. For The avocado which is part of the bandeja paisa is an additional charge. The chorizo was the cheapest dollar store chorizo.the rice was swimming in cheap oil. Nothing was good . We’ll never go back and don’t recommend to any...
