COULDN’T ASK FOR A BETTER DINING EXPERIENCE! Definitely will keep going back, and tell all my friends too!
Authentic and fantastic! From statues, to wall art and hanging flags, to straw mat dividers between tables with plenty of space in between.
When the sashimi platter arrived our table, my jaw dropped! Could I be viewing a spectacular piece of ice sculpture at the Harbin Ice Festival? Wow, all the hugely thick cut pieces of sashimi were artfully displayed on a tray of ice decorated with a REAL ice sculpture and a bonsai pine tree highlighted with colorful lights from underneath! And then there's the shredded beets instead of the usual white Daikon (white Chinese turnip)
Awwww, soooo fresh it melts in your mouth good! The sashimi was cut so big and thick that it takes 2-3 bites to eat each piece. Their soy source was made by the chef himself with his own secret ingredients. Very unique and flavorful indeed!
Their $7 one size hot sake is equivalent to the $13+ large size at other sushi restaurants. The roasted rice Genmai Cha (green Tea) was a total surprise! We loved it! Even their miso soup and their house made ginger salad dressing were more delicious.
Kimono donned friendly waitresses greet you with smiles and very attentive. The chef himself came to our table to greet us.

Read moreI came this way to visit another restaurant when I noticed this place and said let me give it a try,now I have not been to a lot of Japanese restaurants so I really have nothing to compare it to,when I first walked in I was greeted by a very nice women,I chose to sit at a table instead of the bar,the tables are all sections with a light wall on either side, beautiful lighting and pretty soft Japanese music playing, the menu is put together like an expensive leather bound book,I ordered the miso and the fried oysters, miso was some of the best I have had with much seaweed and tofu, and perfect temperature, the oysters were very plump panko crusted, cooked to perfection, oysters were very moist while the outside was nice and crispy,I was told they were imported from Japan, later I had a spicy yellowfin sushimi roll that was Soo good, all the food was very well presented with a bed of colorful veggies and pretty plates, the waitress was very nice she told me the place had been there about 8 years, they are word of mouth with no advertising,do your self a favor and give them a go,and you can...
Read moreSo I used to love this place. I reordered the same thing I always ordered and they chastise me for not showing up for a "supposed last order" of which meanwhile I did pick up. They were speaking about me in another language which I clearly understood from their body language... They were so rude even though I showed up on time they were just so angry about the last time and the discrepancy on their computer systems to where they felt they needed to chastise me in front of the entire restaurant and in another language as if I wouldn't notice! I will never patronize this place again. I literally said, "you know what, forget about it I don't need to be treated this way and give you people my money!" Along with...I " I am not the only one that calls from my work number, it's not my fault if somebody did not pick up their order..." and they still talked about me and treated me horribly in front of everyone, it was so embarrassing I will never frequent this place ever again!
Welcome to America speak English in front of your guests! Because body language is...
