CAUTION!!! Wait!!! Do not use this vendor!!! The owner who repairs the machines is out of the country and has his brother working on the machines and has no clue what he is doing. After 3 attempts to fix the machine and after 3 trips down to Sarasota (from Safety Harbor? A 3 hr round trip, gas and tolls n, they could care less that the man impersonating the owner, said that he fixed my machine. I took it home the first time with no change. The machine was never repaired. The second time, they said the machine is fixed and they left a steamer part on the machine. Brought the machine back home and it’s still not working. The steamer is not frothing properly. I’m back the 3rd time and they said the machine is working. I brought my brother with milk with me to make shire the machine was working. Guess what? It was still not working properly. I was frustrated and could not believe this man was lying to me. This man who is saying that he is fixing machines has no clue as to what he is doing. I told him that he is a fraud! The Better Business should shut this business down. I’m thinking of reporting them to the BBB! After trying to understand what has happened and absolutely frustrated, the brother said to me…take your machine and they refunded my $200. So, at least they gave me my money back. I was thankful for that.
Also, if you look at all the machines that are sitting on the tables when you walk into the store, look at the date on the invoices, some are from June, July, August 2023. They make you think they have all these machines that they worked on. Why have the owners left these machines there? They are machines that probably could not be fixed so the customer just said not to fix it and they charge you the $100 minimum service charge. This is the way they are staying afloat. You have to pay this before they begin any service on the machine which is an outrageous amount of money. My NEmew York guy who repairs my machine charged $35/hr.
Until the actual owner is back in the United States, I would not go to this vendor. If you ask the woman who is managing the store, ask for the name of the owner and make sure that person is working on your espresso machine....
Read moreMy Saecco Incanto was on its last legs. It was only producing coffee from one sprout, the shots were short, and I was worried that every day may be its last. This wasn’t a cheap machine (for me) and replacing it would have been tough. I had cleaned the bee group regularly, done lots of trouble shooting to no avail. I finally decided to take a 75 minute drive to The Beanz Man…and who that is I don’t know because I dealt with the Diane, my Beanz Lady.
I dropped off my machine, had a complementary espresso for the drive home, and hoped they could add some more years to my machines life.
About 3 weeks later (and right on time, as estimated) it was ready.
I picked it up, brought it home and it’s better than I remember new! After replacing the grinders it is so quiet. The shots are perfect and the beans I picked up there (Espresso Venezia) are great.
I am so impressed by the Beanz Man, and Lady. Their work was reasonably priced, they delivered as estimated, and Diane is a delight to chat with....
Read moreWe had a very good experience. I tried taking the machine apart several times and fixing different parts. But I couldn't figure out the source of the leak. Our machine was leaking nightly and deluged our cabinet a couple of times.
They found the source of the leak and a broken valve inside the incoming water line as well. It was a stopped up group head screen. But I tried multiple times to identify this problem and solve it And couldn't.
Have a high level of respect for the tech that fixed my machine. Dianne was also great with responding via email and giving me updates. They even called me an hour before they closed on Thursday to let me know the machine was ready to come pick it up.
So I give them top grade for customer service and really good technical help and service.
It definitely was slow and took almost 4 weeks. But I think their workflow ebbs and flows during the year. Dianne will respond to you with turnaround times if you email them...
