New Standard - Saugatuck — Local services in Saugatuck Township

My buddy told me about NSS I was very excited by his description. He and I made the short drive down from Holland easily taking the exit and spying the Store just as you turn off the exit about a quarter mile down the road on the left hand side. Easy to find. Signage is viewable and easy to read.

Parking was nice and not too packed at all.

Upon entering we were greeted by a wonderful women who did our intake in a clean, quick professional manner. We waited less than one minute and Brock came and brought us from the spacious ac/heat controlled waiting area into the the sales floor.

I gotta say the organization here is out of this world. Everything labeled. Everything neatly arranged. Someone clearly understands customer sales flow for retail! ;) I see you!

I was asked by Brock by how I like to partake in my Thc products. He guided me quickly through their layout both vocalizing the locations of things and pointing or directly taping where what he was indicating was. Again. Someone clearly has put thought into how they interact with customers to provide amazing personalized care while still maintaining a pace that allows for quick turn over. Again. I see you ;)

I was given I believe the Referred friend discount of 20% off. I got two top shelf flower 1/8ths and paid with a DEBIT card and my total out the door was than $94. That included the debit fee. So pricing is great. I can’t think of a complaint other than maybe some full gram disposable vapes (the Cake Premium ones are the bombshell).

Check out was quick. I was able to give a tip easily because of the cash back from the debit fee :)

Overall/ TLDR: Great location. Great selection. Great service. Accepts cash and DEBIT card(doing the usual round up method we are all used to by now I hope) 420/420 ;)...

This has been my main spot since they've opened in the summer of 2021. Though lots of things have changed with the market in general, the service and professionality of the staff at the Saugatuck branch have kept me coming back. Thanks to people like Drew and Neil, a disabled person like myself has reasonable access to my medication thanks to a reliable delivery service available. Staff are always knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help.

Wanted to further update as of 6/14/2025, that the product line has expanded to include more premium options at cheaper prices than previous seasons. Thank you so much, Chloe for your friendly and patient service and providing great recommendations.

As of 7/18/2025, the service is still amazing. Even when short staffed and overwhelmed, everyone is gracious and understanding. The atmosphere by the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable giving my own input in tandem with the staff, because it's such a neighborhood feel. Thank you, New Standard.

On 9/3/2025 I got some good news at my job, and wanting to celebrate, I stopped by NS and Lexi totally nailed it. They have new one-hitter edibles for those with high tolerances, as well as a new cider which adds to their growing list of great fast-acting beverages. The vibe was so cozy today, everyone was chill and welcoming and Lexi is always great at lifting my spirits with her positivity. UPDATE 11/3/2025 SO... New Standard somehow managed to merge my account with another person with the same name and we're not able to fix the issue. This was something that was brought to my attention months ago, when I was receiving emails with orders that I wasn't placing. Concerned, I called the store and went back and forth with the store manager who assured me the issue would be fixed. Fast forward to today and I am seeing more emails about orders that I didn't place. This other person used my account for rewards and anything I had left over and now I have nothing. I got so irritated with the inconsistency and concerned with my privacy that I decided to delete my entire account.

Just a fair warning for anyone out there.Keep an eye on your account... They don't know what happened with mine, so now my account is deleted and thus, I am no longer a customer. :(
