I ordered a chicken egg and cheese biscuit through the mobile order app the same way I always do in the mornings only to receive it without having the chicken, this was on a Saturday morning mind you. I came back and they agreed to rectify the mistake at a later date since it was no longer breakfast time and it was Saturday.
I come in Monday morning to redeem my food and first I’m told I ordered a chicken biscuit and that I would have to pay for the egg and cheese. RED FLAG 1. This was your mistake that I had to wait two days to have fixed, even if I did only order a chicken biscuit, a piece of egg and cheese is reasonable for having to wait two days.
After being showed they had no intention of believing what I said. I of course pulled out the mobile app to show them where I placed the order. When I showed them the receipt, I guess I didn’t order the “official” chicken egg and cheese menu item because the girl began to coach me on how I should have ordered. RED FLAG 2. This is not the time to assign blame to me, the customer for the fact that your establishment messed up. I’ve ordered this item 20 times with no issue. It’s not my fault. Moreover, you didn’t apologize for how you were so insistent on telling me I was wrong about what I was telling you.
The fact of the matter is: the additional egg and cheese cost maybe 89¢ and I was put through about 8 minutes of hassle before I was finally given my food. It was given to me hastily, the food looked hastily prepared and I wasn’t given the opportunity to order and pay for any additional items. RED FLAG 3. Of the situation made you frustrated or uncomfortable, that’s fine but it’s not my problem. I was handled improperly and EXTREMELY offended by the service. Read moreThis location is either amazing or poor customer service. I guess it depends on the day. First disappointment was when I was picking up a Door Dash order and I waited over an hour. I kept asking the gentleman about the order and the only thing he kept saying was “It’ll be out soon”. He had given out the order to someone else and finally a manager came over and took care of everything. She told me not to wait so long next time and I had to explain I had asked the young guy 3 times already and had expressed this was for a delivery that was now going to be late.
Today, I had a mobile order and the gentleman told me I was good to go and said to move forward in the line. The lady on the other side was yelling “ ma’am ma’am!” I rolled down my window and mentioned the guy told me I could move forward. She then had to look my order up and tell me to go on, but I had to wait for the other people to move up. That’s fine and all, I can be patient, but what I do kind is the attitude she had when she found out I didn’t have to pay with her and was actually “good to go”. I normally have great experiences here and that’s why my husband and I frequent here often, but honestly have been getting better customer service at McDonaldl’s (shocking). I know everyone is going through a lot right now and that this pandemic has had a huge impact on individuals, families and businesses, but you have to leave your problems at home and be grateful for a job. Read moreFirst I would like to say that as long as I’ve been a patronage of Chick Fil A whether in Atlanta or Savannah if there was a problem with my order it was solved swiftly and either the manager or employee was courteous and graceful, which is what I love about this company. Today was not one of those good days I’m so use too. I used my points to order my meal and for some reason which I found out once my phone started working again when you redeem your points you have another step to complete it. My fault for not following through this was the first time I had a second step to do. Any who what happened when Jalin (who was so busy playing on his phone) called my name and gave me a sweet tea, I asked him where was the rest of my meal and he said did I have two orders, I said no and asked him to check on this. He did call; however because he was so busy playing on his phone he did not realize until I asked him again that no one responded. My phone still was not loading so Sharon came out with another sweet tea and said my order just had a sweet tea and requested ketchup, which they did not give me. So basically I ordered a large sweet tea with ketchup. Weird huh? Now instead of trying to see what we could do to solve this, I was concerned that I lost my points.(I would have just placed another order and paid for it) but Sharon nor Jalin was not trying to have anymore conversation.
